Great atmosphere! Portia was a great host and planned some fun games for the night for our works Christmas party. She was full of jokes and kept everyone engaged and well fed! Great place to visit for food & entertainment! Would 100% recommend.
The chilly weather made the miso broth, braised pork belly, and honey garlic chicken even more comforting—absolutely perfect for this cold season. The ambience has a beautiful blend of Japanese and Korean vibes, and the service is just as impressive. The staff are warm, friendly, and very accommodating. Definitely one of the must-visit restaurants when you’re in Cheltenham!
The food and the atmosphere is perfect for any type of occasion. If you are craving for japanese & korean cuisine this is the perfect place for you to visit. It is very cozy & the staff are very lovely & helpful. Every item on the menu is a mouthwatering masterpiece designed to delight your taste buds. We will definitely recommend it to our family & friends.
It was a great experience but food wasn’t as good as I expected and I suspect that might have been a) what we ordered or b) the Chef was just having a bad day at the office. I would definitely come back, at least two give them a second chance and try something different. All food was very hot, the rice bowl was definitely a winner, recommended by the waitress. I did find the fried dumplings too salty (I don’t think they are supposed to be like that), mocktails were mehhh considering the price. One of the crab sticks was still covered in plastic, waitress apologised and took it off our bill. So overall and okay experience but I am willing to keep the place another go because it is fun, and it’s a great with lots to choose from and the weekday lunch deals are worth it.
I had the absolute pleasure to attend K Night (five course Korean set menu) at Nagomi, it was such a wonderful evening, and was worth every penny. The food was outstanding, the service was impeccable, and the vibes were immaculate. I felt so taken care of and welcomed by the fantastic team from the moment we arrived, and we left with full bellies and hearts. I will definitely be back for another one. There is so much love and soul in this restaurant, a true Cheltenham gem that is well worth a visit or ten!
My friends and I went to Nagomi on a Friday evening - we had the Korean BBQ, and corn dogs. The meats were very delicious and good quality. I didn’t catch the name of the lady who served us but she was an absolute sweetheart and made our evening. Will definitely come back to try the hot pot and other dishes.
Had a great time at Nagomi last weekend. As a vegetarian, there was a fab selection of food and the staff were great at going through the menu with us and making recommendations. The dengaku is definitely worth ordering and we really enjoyed the veggie sushi.
We had an amazing meal at Nagomi, the quality of the ingredients is exceptional and it's really fun to BBQ your meats. The staff are really friendly and helpful. It's really nicely decorated inside and there is a great selection of Asian drinks, including an amazing Japanese white wine.
Overall we had a good experience at the newly opened Nagomi restaurant today! The food was presented nicely and I really appreciate that they are spreading the alternative dining experience of cooking your own food; whether that be the hotpot or grill. Pros: The meat quality for the rib eye steak was superb, super tender and soft Marinades for the meat were tasty and did not burn easily! Presentation of everything was superb Great selection to choose from Very nice friendly service Cons: Honey garlic fried chicken was not sweet at all, minimal honey used so overall very salty flavour. The chicken was also very oily and was presumably chicken thigh which overall when deep fried made the whole taste very fatty. I phoned up to confirm the grill was charcoal but unfortunately when we arrived and sat down it’s electric!!! Big disappointment for us and probably wouldn’t of came had we been given the correct info. Ordered the pork tenderloin and it came out as very fatty bits of tough pork, hardly any meat at all which obviously is not like tenderloin at all. Steak was cut so thin, it sticks and crumbled on the grill Hope you guys can fix these issues, otherwise great experience.
