    Walked in to the store and a young member of staff just nodded, I looked at the selection and no member of staff interacted with me. Choose my cigar and the young chap just took it out of the cabinet and placed it on the till counter where an older gentleman was at the computer. He kept typing for some time and then wrapped the cigar and pointed at the card machine to invite me to pay, no words spoken. Paid and said “thank you, have a nice day”, he just mumbled a “thank you”. I visited the shop few times but this was definitely the worst visit, won’t go back.

    Decent shop with Cuban cigars. The staff is highly knowledge however the cigars aren't stored on Ideal conditions.

    As I have never tasted cigar so I was so excited to try one - so during my visit to Edinburgh when I came across this place - I walked in immediately. The shop keeper was a friendly person who greeted me well and gave little info about various cigars. I found havaian and Cuban cigars - also found the pipe, the cutter for cigar and other accessories… but all of them were so overly priced. But good shop to visit and have an experience

    Went first time and was really helpful and recommended some really nice cigars. Went second time to get the same again and sold me the wrong ones. Rather throw them in the bin than smoke them they are that bad. No receipt given so can't return. Won't bother heading back.

    Fortunately, I came find Romeo y Julieta Churchills Habanos Añejados that just arrived here today. It is a rare cigar which has been officially aged for 10 years, made me feel the pure woody aroma in the early part, but in the middle part, the aroma became extremely complex, mixed with bean bread and floral aromas. In the end, it made me engulfed in coffee and chocolate, with the sweetness of honey. I have been here many times and this is the best cigar I have ever smoked. The owner is very polite and patient. Unwilling to let others discover this treasure.

    If the rating allowed, I would give The Cigar Box 15 stars!! This is the best customer service experience I have EVER had with any cigar/lighter supplier, or any retail store for that matter. I had to return a lighter do to faulty manufacturing on the part of the brand, and the folks at Cigar Box were proactive in providing me with a replacement. Moreover, they were kind, respectful, and made me feel valued as a customer. I'm never going to need another Cigar or lighter supplier anywhere else in UK! Customer for life!

    Went to the Cigar box at 10:20 today for a cigar for a Father's Day present. I'd looked online and saw that the opening time was 10am, when I got there the door was locked, so I knocked and the chap came to the door, I asked if they were open, he said no and helpfully pointed to the sign on the front door that said they were closed, I said that the opening time was 10am, he said yes but the till wasn't ready and to come back in 10 or 15 minutes. To be honest I'm not an uptight sort of person and if he said " I'm really sorry but I'm running late, if you can come back in 10 minutes I'd really appreciate it", I'd have gone with it but it was the sheer arrogance and front of the guy that got me. No apology and smuggly smiling to himself, someone that shouldn't have a customer facing role. If the manager or owner wants to get in touch then I'm more than happy to give more detailed feedback on the gentleman in question.
