Fantastic service! I was a bit lost where to pay for my item and Lorraine spotted me straight away and helped me with a big smile. She really made my day!
Rude service. A member of staff made eye contact as I approached a small till to purchase an item then walked off, leaving the till unattended. They didn't come back even when eye contact was made across the store. We eventually made our way to another till only to have a man with a pile of items push in front and be served immediately by the waiting staff member. Rather than wait, again, I returned the items and won't shop here again.
They asked me to scan the code on my travel ticket to buy a bottle of water, using "security" as a weak argument. Totally abusive and harassing, just a way to profile customers. I will investigate the company's origins.
Normally have a really good experince. The lady that was on serving of samples of gin at 5am was very rude. First area we came to seen a new gin for sale and asked for a sample and tried 2 of them with 7 people. She was extremely rude after serving us saying 'you don't want to hear anything about it afterwards. No that's what I thought". Staring at us and very unapproachable. It would be good to look at the training or the staff members that are on the floor, as this a is the first experince you are having flying and can make it very negative.

Good range but disconcerted that they don't take cash. Not ideal when you are trying to get rid of any Sterling on the way out of the country.
Felt the two staff stationed at the self-check out counter to be having double standards when dealing with Asian as compared to dealing with a customer who is white. They were so polite, friendly and helpful towards the customer after me, offering to help without her even asking. But for me, it was a complete opposite, there were no smiles and hint of friendliness at all and when they were telling me that cash is not accepted, the tone wasn't exactly nice. And the fact that this duty free shop doesn't accept cash is also a huge disappointment as I wanted to spend all my pounds before heading back.
Very disappointed. Bought a pack of 2 estee Lauder 30ml perfume for 56 pounds on Friday evening only to find that the same pack is 20 pounds cheaper in Belfast International Airport on Sunday afternoon at 36 pounds. This is a massive difference in price and surely duty free has a pricing comparison.
Was a good experience for me overall - found the staff were somewhat helpful albeit I was pounced twice within seconds of each advisor (I kinda knew what I was looking for and what price range I was willing to stick to). There are some deals to be had but I think the prices paid online via the Dufry website are slightly cheaper than the airport I think. My suggestion would be buy it before you go and collect when you’re there. Otherwise it’s an impressive display - I’ve attached a photo of a rare version of my favourite brand that was in the duty free store, no price tag of course!
Be very careful if you are traveling domestically, I got caught it after being tempted by the very eager staff in the alcohol section. Only being told at the checkout I couldn't purchase the Edinburgh Gin.
