Ordered online and pick up was easy process just have to have ID, The girl at the front with glasses was friendly, attentive and helpful.
If it was possible to give court of a star I would give them so just went in the shop which I go in multiple times every single day using my electric scooter was told by a woman at the front door who called herself the manager that electric scooters are no longer allowed in the premises after stating that it is not store policy then went back on her word and said it is store policy off the train to contact customer service multiple times along with different branches or phone numbers say that they are not recognised absolutely worthless I do have the woman's work number will be complaining if I ever get through to the complaints department and quite honestly I recommend that everyone dose not shop here as there are a rip off
I just had the worst experience in this store, do not come, nobody serves or helps, and if you ask about the sizes at the counter they treat you badly, a dark-skinned woman with long braids who is at the counter treated me and my daughter super well, seeing that we were inferior, I asked her for help with the sizes and what she did was snatch the shoes from my hand and put them in the register. I told her to be nicer, that if she works with people and the day is just starting, she should at least show a smile and not treat each other badly because if you go to the store it is to spend, I am not an animal to be treated like that, do not come to this store and especially for that woman with braids if she does not like the job or is frustrated she should look for a job that suits her where she does not have to serve mothers.
There were only 2 people working here when I went yesterday (a Saturday): not enough people for the customers needing help across the store, bearing in mind the store is also 2 floors. I'm usually happy to figure things out on my own, but when you need a different shoe size and most of stock kept in a locked staff-only room, you end up really depending on staff to get things done. Anyways, I couldn't find anyone to help me find the shoe I wanted in the correct size downstairs, so I tried to come upstairs with the sample shoe in hand, and the security guard started kinda shouting at me to go back downstairs, saying there was only 1 person who could help me with shoes who was there. So I waited for some time for the sales assistant (downstairs) to be available to fetch the shoe I wanted in the correct size. There were a few other people standing around who looked like they were waiting for him too - felt bad for him, as there clearly needed to be more help on the floor! My partner then asked the other sales assistant/cashier for help (upstairs) to find a shoe in the correct size later on, and she was quite rude/curt. We waited for a while for her too, as she was processing a payment for another customer, and then when she came past to scan the shoe barcode and find the correct size, she just said "there's no size 12" and walked off. There were multiple colour variations of this shoe, so if she had asked us if we would like to try another colour in a size 12, we would have said yes. We said "thank you" as she walked off, and then I think she felt bad about how she had talked to us because she said, "have a nice day" awkwardly. Found the whole store experience increasingly off-putting to the point where I just wanted to leave, so I took the shoes I had intended to buy for myself and handed them to the security guy on our way out. Will buy them elsewhere.
Unhelpful customer service! We have been waiting so long to get a shoes, Manager should take serious action about it…
Second time I’ve been in this store and the short black guy that’s at the door is real rude.I Ask him for help and he points where to go I had to ask him for assistance. He came downstairs with an attitude, like I must not ask him to help me as he works there. I believe he don’t like his own people. He don’t even like working in Tottenham. I’ve heard him put the area down when sports direct first opened , So I left and went to JD sports again same guy with no energy to help me. I won’t be in a rush to go there again. If it happens again il take his photo and post it here. The help he offered was a “don’t care “ so I told him it’s ok and he went to stand at the door again. He’s a black man in a black area hating on black peoples
TRICKED ON PRICE, REFUSED RETURN, REFUSED PURCHASE OF ITEM -an average day at Sports Direct on Tottenham High Road. (30 MINUTES WASTED!) Manager on duty on 21/09/2021 was the most unprofessional retail worker I have ever met. I was purchsing an England shirt, which was discounted to £9.99, went to pay, it came out at £12.99. I informed the worker, that I want my £3, who then called the manager. He came over and told me that I have to wait if I want my money back. No please, no sorry (an average day at this shop apparently). As I walked away from the tills to sit down, he confronted me, telling me: don't walk away, you have to tell me what you want, he handed me the shirt and told me to wait. I waited 10 minutes, they tried to refund me again - nothing. Another 10 minutes went by - nothing. I went up to the till and he was called over again, he said he would return me the money, but to my surprise he was returning the full sum - £10 all in coins! I told him I want the shirt and he REFUSED TO SELL it to me! He then refused to give me a £10 note all because he wanted to avoid a discrepancy. He wouldn't sell me the shirt for the same reason. (Which he obviously didn't explain) All in all, they made a mistake on the price - no apology, when it came to returning the money - were incredibly rude and finally refused to return to me the original money I paid with as well as sell the item I wanted to purchase, WASTING 30 MINUTES of my time! Incredible, absolutely incredible. In all my years I have never seen appauling service like this! I would give a 0 if I could.
Friendly staff. Always happy to help you. I wanted to buy shoes size 3 , but they did not have any in stock so one of the stuff suggested he can order online for me . Wish they have more variety selection of clothes and colours (not only gray or black )
