I went to Coia today for the first time and was looked after by Juliette. I was a wee bit nervous as my white hair wasn't in good condition and needed a good cut. As soon as l sat down Juliette put me at my ease with her caring, friendly manner and she listened to all my concerns about my hair. Juliette was so focused and cut and styled it beautifully. Even the lady in the next chair said it was lovely! The atmosphere in the hairdresser's was relaxed and happy and the place was so clean. I bought some of their products and look forward to using them. Thank you to everyone for a great experience and especially to Juliette for her caring manner and fab haircut. Thank you so much.
Amazing hairdressers - having been at three other well known salons in the area none of them were able to get my grey hair to take colour properly but thanks to the lovely Arran he did it straight away first time. Lovely friendly atmosphere and they even have massage chairs at the wash stations. Big 5 star from me!!
I had a lovely first appointment with Angela for a cut and colour. The salon is relaxed but vibrant, clean and I felt well looked after with coffee and lemon water. I felt my hairdresser listened to exactly what I wanted and was chatty throughout the appointment. The cost was lower than I expected and I was really pleased with how my hair looked when I left. After a few bad experiences with other salons, I’m already looking forward to visiting again.
Lovely place, lovely people and top service. Colour is done so professionally. Head massage and chair massage was a lovely touch. Thank you all :)

Karina did a fantastic job on my hair! I am very high maintenance when it comes to my hair and I had been to many hair dressers recently and left disappointed! It feels and looks fab. I'm really happy with it
Sorry Would give 0 if I could, worst highlights I’ve had in 10 years. Hairdresser was nice but job was rushed and hair is patchy and I still have roots. I had to go back to get a toner to “blend it”, if it was done properly it wouldn’t have needed blending. Absolute waste of money. Having to get it fixed elsewhere who agreed it was really badly done.
Stylist cut my hair way shorter at the back than I asked for. Then rather than admitting the mistake they tried to cover it up by making longer layers on top than below and doing this round to the front where it was left longer. I asked why it wasn't even at the front and they passed it off that's your back and front bits. I don't wear my hair on a central parting but they insisted it was cut that way. This left me with uneven lengths at the front. To cover the botched hair cut it was blowdried with a curl and further curled to cover it up. I think maybe the lady was rushed as the salon was busy but I'm more annoyed at the cover up rather than fixing it and still charging me full price. The first time I blowdried my hair to wear it straight I was shocked. Fully recommend going to The Lunatic Fringe who did a great job of giving me a proper hairstyle.
My hair looks great. At Coia I had a feeling that they really take a good care of me, being attentive. Lauren gave me good advice on how much hair to cut to make it look better, healthier. I even planned to cut off more, to sacrifice length for quality, but we cut less and it still looks perfect. The atmosphere in the salon is so nice, relaxing. I must mention super chairs at the sink area - they lift up and you're half lying, when your hair is being washed, very comfortable, no pressure on a neck. Overall expression - a high quality hairdresser. I'll be a regular customer.
