Good no frills hotel at a reasonable price for the area. Excellent location. We had an issue with the sheets and they sorted it out real quick using their whatsapp service. A no frills option if you are just using the place to sleep. Its a quieter location than the central Ibis so got a good night's sleep. Mind, we were on the top floor. I would use this one again.

The rooms are fine, although bits could do with a bit of a refresh. Extremely comfortable bed, and the rooms were VERY quiet considering the central location. Nice comfortable bar/restaurant for lounging in. Apart from the location, the best thing about this place is the reception team. I have never seen such a friendly, helpful bunch in a hotel every. Whatever they're being paid is probably not enough. Would come here again happily.

This hotel was just off the a Royal Mile and close to excellent cafes. Just up the hill from New Town and the train and bus stations. The bed was so comfortable and the room had everything you'd need. The restaurant was excellent for breakfast having everything hot and cold available(we didn't use it at other times so can't comment). Would definitely recommend. There is a shop just across the street for storing luggage cheaply in case you go on a tour and can't take all your things.

Great location close to Waverley Station and The Festival Theatre. Hotel staff were all friendly, polite and helpful. Room was pretty basic but clean and comfortable with a good mattress. All the facilities in the bathroom 'pod' worked well and the shower was very good. We enjoyed a reasonably priced cocktail in the bar and I was really impressed by the breakfast buffet. My only complaint was the outside noise from a nearby bar or club with a loud sound system which we could hear in our third floor room until 03:00 AM, next time I'll request a room on a higher floor. Apart from that no complaints.

Excellent location for a stay in Edinburgh, room was ok other than the bathroom door was hanging off its hinges so it was a major struggle to open and close the door. There was also a huge gap at the bottom of the door so you could hear and smell everything that goes on in there. I prefer a little more privacy.

Situated just off the Royal Mile and near the other hotel on HUnters Corner. South Bridge is perfect for a long weekend . The staff were warm and welcoming. They explained about breakfast and evening meals if you want to eat there. At £13.50 for a breakfast pp we decided not to bother. The room was small and compact and the bed was very comfortable as well. It came with the usual amenities. 3 nights for £230 in a hotel just off the mile was a bargain. Would definitely stay here again instead of well known budget hotels.

Stayed one night in room 768. There’s a lift to help with luggage for the half floor of stairs. Can hear the Neighbour walking about in heels in their room. A clean and warm room. Queen size bed - the white bed sheet was only tucked under the mattress protector and not the mattress… a first for me. Coffee table complete with snacks - crisps, chocolates - nespresso machine and pods, tea bags, instant coffee, and a kettle. You can fill your water bottle at reception area. The shower area was spacious and has instant hot water. There were two bath towels (no hand towel and no face towel) and two bath robes. Hair dryer, Shower gel and shampoo, shower cap, soap bar, cotton pads/buds provided. No exhaust for bathroom. Efficient check in. Convenient location. Overall a very decent stay for the price.

Very good location if you're able to walk unaided. Not so good if you have mobility issues. However, overall a good hotel & the staff were excellent. We had a noise issue on the first night but we were moved to another room without any problem. The bar/restaurant area is good and the food was very good. Very good value if booking on the EasyJet holiday website which includes flights.
