We thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere in this pub during the popular Sunday evening quiz. The food was very good, the staff friendly, the ambience nice too. In fact, I haven't enjoyed visiting a pub like this for a very long time. I would certainly come here again.

What a find, the Inn on the Green, I would highly recommend, stunning garden with beautiful flowers to enjoy on a warm sunny day/evening. Great atmosphere, all the staff are really friendly and attentive and checking back to ensure everything was ok for us. We opted for a steak and the fish, chips and mushy peas, oh boy it didn’t disappoint, hot delicious, tasty and good value for money. Nothing was to much trouble and a lovely young lady, took the extra time to have a chat with us about our day (literally we flew in from Italy, went to visit our best friend in south-mead hospital) In my eyes this is going that extra mile with the customer service journey. Please pass our thanks on to all the team.
Visited for lunch with a team of 7 and they were able to sort us out a late booking. Lots of burgers ordered, and they were pretty good with plenty of fries. Only downside was it felt like a long time to come out when it wasn’t busy. Service was friendly and no mistakes with the order. £138 for 7 people is very good value, too. I’d visit again for sure.
Lovely pub, really nicely decorated and the garden is absolutely stunning in the summer. Had a roast today and overall it was lovely, my only complaints being the roast potatoes and the lack of crunchy crackling on the pork as promised. The Yorkshire pudding was huge and so fluffy! Worth having the roast just for the yorkie!
Sunday, 2pm, at least 10 tables inside and in the garden are free and not booked, but we are told that they can’t serve us, because they only have enough food left for people who booked tables… umm what kind of planning is that?? Few people before us left for the same reason. I worked in this business as well and know that if someone screws up in estimating food you simply send someone to a store. This is next level lazy management and poor business skills…. Expected more from Bristol… Won’t be coming back and do not recommend to anyone.
I drive past this pub a lot, so stopped for a little bite to eat. It was really good! Nice outside space, nice inside space.
We ordered salmon/cod fishcakes and avocado ciapatta and both where really good. The outdoors area was great with plenty of flowers but no insects. I don’t know how they managed to achieve that but not something you see in many places. Toilets have areas for improvement because they smelled a bit. Overall a nice and cosy place with an outstanding outdoors area.
Really nice inn. We came for lunch and there are lots of different choices such as ciappatas, burguers and some lunch deals like fishcakes. The chips are really good and the avocado ciappata is just oustanding. They have a great terrace where you can enjoy a summer day with really views qnd flowers. The inside also is nice if you prefer to stay inside. Personel really nice and efective. Really recommended.
