Tool shed is my go to tool shop and has been for years. Moved location which is more convenient for me now. The prices are very competitive and you can always find some of the more obscure items and tools ie, odd size washers that would cost a fortune at your other DIY stores. Customer service is great and they will find what you need within seconds. Check this shop out and grab a coffee next door.
Akram is both friendly and helpful and in that store there will usually be what you are looking for. An important part of SouthSide and very good value. Try here before going to Barnaby+Quentin or onto the web.
Great wee local shop staffed by helpful and friendly people and choc full of brilliant selections of tools. If you are missing Homebase after its closure, this is the go to place for everything you need. The Range doesn't even come close to the breadth of DIY stock carried in this wee goldmine. Wishing the new owners every success with their business. Shop local and support your smalll stores. Give these guys some trade. I will be back in this week for a rummage.

Absolutely excellent, I got a traditional thick leather 2 pocket nail bag, I'm an older joiner that's not good with these multiple multi pocket affairs. Now show me somewhere else I'll got one of them. No chance.
