   Bought some pva glue. Punched in a code from an electonic magazine in store. It was clearly shown in stock. Paid at the desk after account confirmed. Order online for pickup or if you're lucky there will be a stock in store or be directed to another local store. Relatively small and reasonable carpark which always has spaces. Great and helpful staff. Quick service. In case you have been living on the moon, this is B & Q from a magazine for trade and normal customers. A more serious DIY shop, or for construction trade/pros. For the very basic and less serious requirements, there is a cheaper option in "the Range" across the road in the retail park which is just a dreadful place.

   Dreadful customer service - won't be back. Ordered car shampoo which showed as in stock but eventually staff worked out they didn't have it and issued refund. I identified an alternative product but took ages for staff to locate. 20 minutes waiting in total for a very simple transaction. Not a hint of apology from arrogant and disinterested staff who really don't seem bothered or want to take any responsibility.

   Absolutely appalling. Asked at the desk for help and was directed to an iPad. Waited to speak to someone else who helped me. Went back in, same response insisted on “logging me in”, so asked someone else a question. Won’t be back.

   Avoid! Popped in, asked staff member for help, was directed to iPad. Not even slightly helpful. Left, went to Homebase across the road, 5 mins and a very helpful member of Homebase staff later, had what I needed and was heading home.

   They don’t let you go up to counter and get the staffs expert advice You’ve now got to go to the self service machines No use if you aren’t exactly sure what you are wanting WONT BE BACK ! My local wee ironmonger wins every time !!!
