I thoroughly enjoy my trip to this Tesco store and have done since it opened. Great staff. Helpful. Well stocked shelves and clearly price labeled too. My only gripe is you have to check the use by dates on their fresh food isles. Cold meats, chicken etc,.
lucky to have a Tesco right in front of my building! It’s super convenient for quick grocery runs..everything is always fresh, shelves are well-stocked, and the staff are really helpful. I also use Tesco’s home delivery service, which is always on time and reliable. Couldn’t ask for more
Possibly the most depressing place to shop. Visited on Tuesday afternoon, first interaction at customer service desk to buy lottery tickets, functional process, glum expression. Then to start shopping, asked a member of staff where to find ziplock food bags, she pointed vaguely towards an aisle saying they were on the end. Once upon a time staff were trained to take you there. I eventually found them but not where she indicated. Experience at check out was more of the same, I said hello to the assistant and received a grunt response, obviously hates his job and didn’t want to be there. Thankfully excellent customer service was experienced when I visited the in store Costa Coffee for lunch. The 2 happy, smiley members of staff who served me brought a negative experience to an end.
It’s huge and has got a variety of good grocery, fruit and vegetables. Clothes department, kitchenware and a small hardware all in one roof. Customer service is great they’re happy to help you
Today I’ve cancelled my Tesco+ card due to the continued bad service in this store. From not having delivery arrive to having to having a check of 20 items after I’d shopped scanned as I went to save time. Felt wry embarrassed standing as my bags were gone through and my shopping which I’d carefully packed being messed about. Even a shoplifter had to leave the store with goods befor e they can be legally stopped. Today was the last straw. I could not get help at checkout with an item that needed approval. A man beside me had been waiting when I arrived for help. One person seemed to be dealing with 2 people who were having problems with self checkout, a common occurrence in your store. Eventually I left everything in trolley and left. There I saw another lady who was supposed to be helping customers standing chatting to friends. I am so dissatisfied with the consistent bad service in this Dalmarnock store I will be changing my supermarket.
Horrendous experience. Midway through self scan main shop, system crash. Unsympathetic staff in self serve advised me to wait in queue for operator to scan all items. Due to push from Tesco towards digitalisation next to little staff available in this situation. Long queue waiting for items to get checked out by sole operator on till. Operator very pleasant. Further issue redeeming gift card, resulting in a further 15 minute wait to get issue resolved. Thanks to staff member who got me a coffee and a drink for my little one. One member of staff suggested that I phone up to redeem card so wouldn't recommend gift cards for anyone as it just seems like too much hassle. Visited early to get in and out with little queues but was not to be. Must try harder, as I was very close to just asking for my bags back to go elsewhere.
Terrible accessibility if you're not coming by car. No bike parking racks and no way to cut across to the other stores in the area without backtracking through the main entrance.
Standard supermarket full of brands but need to sort the home delivery shopper staff. You’ll go up an aisle and there’s three members of staff with their massive trolleys blocking the way having a chat
Brilliant ladies in the clothing department. They go out of their way to help customers. Always cheery and polite.
