    Last time I was in (3/12/25) it was mobbed at the checkouts. A bit early for Christmas stockpiling for most people I would think. Can't get over how brilliant this store was 15 to 20 years ago. Feels a lot less spacious now than back then with less and less stuff you'd actually want to bother going in for.

    Shocking that there's limited cashiers, limited tills, queues way, way too long. Got a coffee from the cafe, Β£6.05. Really!! It's a dump of a place now cafe was very grubby considering I paid Β£6.05 for a coffee!! Very, very little selection of anything. Just very drab, unfriendly atmosphere & extortionate cafe prices. Get a grip Tesco!!

    Dont why I shop here, daylight robbery and cheeky female staff members! Went in and on my phone I had counted Β£27.28 total for the stuff I tried to buy (Inc clubcard prices) Lady at till, unhelpful and didnt feel like she wanted to serve me! The total came to Β£37.??. I gave her my clubcard and the price was Β£27.??. I then handed over a Β£2.50 voucher and went to pay with my card and it got declined. Felt the women was looking at me like I was a idiot and not interested. Im fed up as it is, everytime I shop and calculate the prices somehow Im wrong when I get to the till. I just had enough and walked away, felt maybe putting card into machine wouldnt get declined, sometimes staff say its wanting you to put card in the card reader but she had cleared everything, so I just stormed off. Not the first I have had cheeky female staff members say nasty stuff about me and treat me unfairly! I only had Β£25+ in my bank account. The prices are just shocking and poorly labeled, I just dont understand how I'm making mistakes! So lost Β£2.50 voucher and no doubt clubcard points cos of that, unless it didnt get took off me or shes stole a Β£2.50 voucher the checkout lady!

    I recently visited Tesco Shettleston to purchase supplies for a celebration with family and friends. I saw a clear promotional sign for Coca Cola Zero Sugar (24 x 330ml) at Β£6.75 per pack and wanted to buy 20 cases to meet my party’s needs. However, at the self-checkout, a staff member named Ann abruptly stopped me and claimed I could not buy more than five cases β€” despite no signage or information indicating any limit. Her tone was rude, dismissive, and left me feeling targeted because of my Asian ethnicity and limited English proficiency. When I asked to speak to a manager, Craig simply repeated the same statement about a five-case limit, without offering any explanation or evidence of an actual store policy. Both staff members were unprofessional and made me feel humiliated. To verify this supposed policy, I immediately went to another Tesco store nearby where I was able to buy the same quantity of Coca Cola Zero Sugar without any issue. Staff there confirmed there is no purchase limit in place. Tesco Shettleston’s staff showed a serious lack of professionalism, courtesy, and respect. I hope Tesco management will investigate this incident and train staff properly to ensure customers of all backgrounds are treated fairly.

    It gets tiring to request staff not vape right outside the entrance in huge puffs of smoke going right into everyone in the vicinity 's faces. It's vile and causes me to have seizures. I have to presume that the store manager is not on duty because these are Tesco staff (mostly women) who I believe are front line staff... blatantly smoking in their uniforms in a very public and selfish place. Shame on them. I need an oxygen mask just to enter the store.

    Me and my family were shopping at Tesco Shettleston many years, last year management turned that dragged down that place. Empty shelves, customer service and cashiers quality is beyond a joke. I would recommend them a year ago now I would say go somewhere else, Asda forge or Morrisons at fort.

    What should be a 10 minute shop takes half an hour due to the random layout of the aisles. There is no order to them. Stuff that should be next to each other is 4 aisles apart. You literally walk in circles trying to find stuff. Also, for the size of the place the selection is very limited.

    Shopping today, used self scan. Double checked everything was scanned on hand held scanner. At checkout a check by assistant was required, an item was found to not be scanned. Everything had then to be rescanned, this was not a problem, but I had to go to scanner and do this myself and no one checked everything rescanned. What was the point? Will use manned checkout in future if I shop here.
