   I had only ever been to one other opticians before so I didn’t realise there would be much of a difference - but there was! I had such a lovely time visiting this store. I get a lot of anxiety around appointments like these and all the staff were so friendly and welcoming. The staff who welcomed me was very quick and polite to take my details and direct me to the waiting area. The gentleman who took a scan of my eye was very patient and communicated clearly. The optician who helped me with my appointment was so lovely. She was very thorough with the appointment and I felt like she took time to really communicate everything along every step of the way. I would highly recommend this store for anyone and I would definitely go back for my next visit.

   I am writing to express my sincere appreciation for the excellent care I received at Specsavers Edinburgh Nicolson Street during my recent eye test. Before my visit, I had been wearing my contact lenses for over 24 hours without being able to remove them due to extreme dryness. This caused significant redness, pain, and discomfort in my eyes. I was very worried, so I booked an emergency eye examination in the early hours of the morning and came to the store at around 9 a.m. From the moment I arrived, the front desk staff were incredibly patient and kind. They carefully registered my situation and, upon learning that I was unable to remove my contact lenses, they gently helped me take them out. Their calm and professional attitude immediately made me feel reassured. After that, Ben, the optometrist, carried out a very thorough examination of my eyes. He explained the condition clearly, reassured me that there was no serious problem, and provided appropriate medication and advice. His professionalism, patience, and caring manner truly meant a lot to me during a stressful moment. I would also like to mention a very touching detail. That day happened to be my birthday, and the elderly gentleman who examined my eyesight kindly asked if my birthday was on the 9th of December and wished me a happy birthday. This small but thoughtful gesture deeply moved me, and it was truly the best service and birthday blessing I received that day. I am genuinely grateful for the kindness and high level of care shown by both the reception staff and Ben. Their support not only relieved my physical discomfort but also eased my anxiety. This experience has left a very positive and lasting impression on me. Thank you once again for your outstanding service. Please pass on my heartfelt thanks to everyone involved.

   Incredible service today from Hannah at Specsaver. I broke my glasses here on holiday and she calmly talked me through repairing them and replacing the broken frame for free. I would have been lost without them and unable to return home v easily! What a brilliant service, thank you Specsaver and thank you Hannah.

   Specsavers North Bridge has the most wonderful staff, very polite and helpful, above and beyond what is expected . If you visit and need a recommendation on glasses, ask for Purbo, he is the most amazing gentleman who will transform a mundane shopping experience into a fun and light hearted celebration of optical fashion. He is the stand out member of an already exceptional cast of warm hearted and kind folk in this great and ancient city.
