   Placed an online order for shoes, which took weeks to arrive. When they arrived they did not fit. Tried to return but they had closed their online store. Finally got an address to return. They have now had my returned item for over one month and I’ve not received a refund. I cannot contact them at all about this as they do not respond to emails and have closed their phone line.

   Every time I’m in Stroud, I have to pop into Sanderson Boutique — it’s genuinely one of my favourite shops. Whether I’m actually needing something or just having a browse, I always end up finding something lovely or discovering a new brand. Their perfume section is amazing. They’ve got such a great range of fragrances — some I’ve never seen anywhere else — and they’re really thoughtful about the experience too. They even put out coffee beans to sniff between scents, which is such a nice touch if you get overwhelmed or a bit headachy from smelling too many in one go. It’s little things like that that show they really care about their customers. The clothing is so well chosen – you can tell they put effort into stocking pieces that are different to what you see everywhere else. There’s a mix of styles and price ranges, so whether you’re in the mood to treat yourself or just pick up something small, there’s always something to tempt you. And their sales are definitely worth a look – I’ve found some brilliant bargains in the past! What I love most is the variety – it’s not just clothes and perfume. They’ve got candles, high-end toothpaste, blazers, linen shirts, skincare bits – a bit of everything! And the brands are proper quality ones like Mario Valentino, Holland & Cooper, Boss, Ugg and more. The staff honestly make it even better. They’re always friendly, warm, and up for a chat, especially when it comes to perfume. I’ve had so many great conversations in there, and you can tell they genuinely enjoy what they do – it never feels pushy, just really helpful and relaxed. It’s just one of those places that feels nice to be in. Whether you’re after something specific or just mooching around, it’s such a lovely atmosphere and I always walk out feeling like I’ve discovered something special. Highly recommend dropping in if you’re in Stroud – honestly, you’ll want to go back

   I bought a Hackett knitted t shirt and a hole appeared on first wash. The company refused to acknowledge any fault and did not investigate further. I emailed to ask how long the product had been kept prior to sale as it looks as if the material had been weakened but they did not respond despite sending 4 emails chasing this. Very poor after service

   Me and my friend went into sandersons in our school uniforms (we are both in secondary school) and usually when people our age go into stores we get bad looks and the employees tell us not to touch anything but Sandersons was completely different. We were testing perfumes and an employee came up to us and gave us free perfume sample bottles then had a chat with us about our summer holidays. It was such a nice experience and whoever that employee is deserves a raise

   Pretty poor service – they advertise something, take the money including for next day delivery and then do nothing until you chase it. A further two days later they state a refund will be 3-5 days – no word of apology.

   The young lady who works at Holland Cooper, the blond lady who was working with Jean the day I went there with my Pomeranian! That lady is great with excellent customer service skills ! I was looking for a Holland Cooper winter coat to take to NY next month and she went beyond my expectations to find me my size since I am very petite. I am over the moon with the Arctic collection coat she picked for me, it is very warm and it also has an extra down jacket that can be worn separately. Great price as she did inform me that there was a discount on the item so I ended up paying only £400 or so for it. Its initial price was over £600 so it was great! I did ask her for her name as I wanted to leave a review. Unfortunately I lost the card with her name on it. Sorry ! I recommend this shop and this lady and Jean ! Unlike the arrogant ladies of Holland Cooper boutique in Cheltenham, these 2 ladies are brilliant ! Real sales persons ! My best wishes ! Yetzabel

   Great staff, great store, great asset to Stroud. Always received fantastic customer service from here, staff really are exceptional. Just a shame, as in most retail, that they aren't looked after or remunerated enough. Basic pay and no sick pay. Not good. Look after staff and value them and they will pay you back tenfold. Just disappointing as I have met the owner and developer and thought more of him.
