   Very comfortable accommodation with great hospitality from the owner. Toiletries and towels are all provided and restocked each day. Rooms are clean and the house is charming. Delicious Scottish breakfast with plenty of choice. Bus station is located directly outside to go to the city centre.

   Very pleasant owner. You will have a large room with own bath and a second sink. The breakfast was more than enough to have a nice start for the day. Transport to Edinburgh city centre with bus 44 takes around 15 minutes to get from the hotel to Princess Street, the bus stop is in front of the guest house. So my advice is to stay at Milton House if you look for an familiar location also the Portobello beach is just a 15 minutes walk away. A final thanks goes to the owner she was really helpful.

   The proprietor is a consummate professional who has clearly been doing B&B for a long time. I was made to feel welcome and everything I needed was provided.Rooms are spotlessly clean and maintained to a high standard. The cooked breakfast was delicious and included the all important black pudding and tattie scone (frequently omitted by lesser establishments). I would not hesitate to book again if I am ever back in the area.

   Very cozy B&B with amazing hostess who makes amazing breakfast. The room was good and clean, the bathroom was nicely equipped. The location is also great, 20 mins to city centre by bus with bus stop right in front of the building. Just the Wi-Fi was quite bad, one night I couldn't connect at all.

   A lovely b&b at a great location - near portobello beach and in front of a bus stop downtown. The hostess is nothing short of amazing: when I told her I busted my toe she quickly procured a walking stick for me, and was full of useful travel advice and interesting stories. The rooms were cozy and very clean.

   Pauline was a lovely host. The breakfast was top notch and the room was warm and cozy. The bus stop right outside got us everywhere we wanted to go. We had a lovely time!

   the host is lovely and the house is very nice. she made us two full breakfasts for breakfast that were both delicious and the bus to Edinburgh central are right outside. a great little BNB right out of town.
