We really enjoyed our stay! The room was clean and the service was spot on. The location was very good, not a far walk from anything, but yet not too noisy or crowded. We enjoyed the lounge on the first floor. Jack was the best! Super kind and helpful! Great view of Arthur’s seat and very near the Holyrood castle! Which we enjoyed way more than we expected!

I highly recommend this hotel. It was one of the best experiences I've ever had with Marriott. The manager Derrick was wonderful and made sure we were taken care of and I had my daughher with me and he made sure we had felt right at home. I had an issue with my Bonvoy account and he honored it and took the time and helped fixed it for me. It 's very hard to find good people like that.Thank you Derrick. We will definitely be back and recommend this to all our friends. Cheers. David M - Texas

Quietly located just off the Royal Mile and 5 minutes walk to Holyroodhouse palace. Room is comfy and a bit spacious. Early check in was granted at no cost. All staff at the reception were great as well as Megan at the restaurant.

Dylan, the night service front desk, was so kind. He made our stay extra special with his service and attention to detail. Our bartender, Danny, not only poured fantastic drinks, but was also so kind to us for the duration of our stay. Overall the staff was kind, and helpful, however, these two truly stood out to help us and go the extra mile.

Really nice stay here, the rooms are a good size and the beds are huge, decent size TV too. The location isn't bad either, you can walk in to the center of Edinburgh from there in around 15-20 minutes but the palace is right over the road The only negative I could say about here is the breakfast isn't up to much, for the buffet style it could be better, items had been allowed to run low/out and the scrambled eggs were swimming in water, other than that, a good stay there

First class hotel. From check in to check out we had a first class experience. On arriving we had a minor issue with TV. Maintenance staff were on it almost before I put phone down. Very comfortable room with well stocked facilities and guides. Superb food at breakfast and dinner. Reasonable bar prices too for City Centre hotel. Biggest plus though were the staff. All so pleasant, smiling and ever eager to help. Recommended for a visit.

Good rooms, great staff, awful breakfast I stay here for the access to Dynamic Earth, but the hotel is generally good. The rooms are a nice size, the beds are comfortable, and the showers hot (though could really do with updating to modern over the head fittings) However, since I stayed a year ago, the breakfast has taken a nose dive. It used to have great service and a polished extra menu with good options and now you just get "eggs" from the kitchen and a decidedly average continental buffet. The coffee was nearly undrinkable. My poached eggs came out on barely toasted bread. If it wasn't for the friendly and very helpful front of house staff and concierge it would be 3 stars.

This place was outstanding and I loved my stay in here. The breakfast was amazing and most importantly the staff have been super friendly and always there to help. I would have given 5 star but the only reasons why I didn’t is that our telephone service in the room wasn’t working and also we would have ideally liked more tissues in the toilet as a spare. But other than that I would definitely come back here again.

We’ve just stayed overnight at this hotel. Fantastic friendly staff, great location, very clean, great food and super comfortable beds. Don’t miss out on the leisure club either. I believe it’s the staff that make a stay great and these folks that work there go out of their way to ensure you are made very welcome indeed. I’ve already booked again. Well done all!

We had a great stay in this hotel, the receptionists were super friendly and helpful, good size of the room, the hotel was clean and the breakfast delicious with lots of options. Great location, we were just 15 minutes walking distance from the centre. We will visit again.
