Great spot with clean rooms, friendly staff, and a pub with lots of character on the main floor.
Nice hotel with the bar in the main entry. The staff is very attentive. Car parking is alongside the hotel but limited.
Lovely place and people. We stay three nights. Location is quite good. You can use 3, 33 buses by walking 4 mins. Also you can take 4 one just in front of the hotel. We read the reviews as rooms are not warming but we have an extra heater so the temperature is good in last of December :)
A lovely, cozy, quaint place to stay! The bar was lovely too! Only gripe: it's a bit misleading for them to say "free parking" when really, they have a couple spots in a narrow alley that are always full and very sketchy to get in, and if those spots are taken, get ready to pay £3.10 an hour on the street

Did not have a great experience. Booked the function hall for Christmas party. It was confirmed by the staff and at the last minute , they called and told we cannot host. Just for awareness for others if they planning their party at this place
Lovely place with really nice rooms and washroom. The staff here are so kind and accommodating, my girlfriend chose well. Would definitely go back.
We spent two nights in this hotel while we were in Edinburgh. The room was nice, even if there was a broken chair. We didn't need it. The hotel provides with shampoo, conditioner, shower gel for two. The bathroom was big and had a window. The staff was absolutely amazing and the lady who waited for the breakfast was very lovely and funny. The only problem is that they forgot to inform us to book the breakfast the night before.
On arrival felt welcome straight away, stayed in room 8 lovely comfy clean room. Hairdryer and beautiful flffy white bath towels. Having the bar was a bonus nought a few drinks and sat outside in the sunshine. Breakfast was amazing Sharon and her husband are an asset to the hotel. Excellent stay value for money. Bus service right outside the hotel. Well done full team.
