It was a truly great experience. The nightly music created such a vibrant atmosphere, and the staff were absolutely amazing — warm, attentive, and full of positive energy.
We had such a wonderful stay here! The breakfast was absolutely delicious, with plenty of choice and everything freshly prepared. In the evening we enjoyed the live Scottish music — it was such a unique and heartwarming experience, accompanied by beautiful videos of Scotland. The host (the lovely gentleman) was incredibly kind, welcoming and attentive, which made us feel right at home. Thank you so much for your hospitality — this place truly gave us a memorable part of our Scotland trip. Highly recommended!
Unfortunately lots of spiders and did not seem clean at all. The shared bathroom is extremely small. Owner was only nice on our way out when he asked for a review mentioning his music. Music was okay, but it’d be nicer if the rooms were cleaner.
We had such a great stay at this guest house! One of the highlights was the host singing traditional Scottish songs in the evening—such a cool and unexpected experience. They also played short videos alont with the songs and sharing fun facts and stories about Scotland, which really added to the vibe. The house itself is over 200 years old, which we didn’t know going in, and that historic charm really made it feel special. Our room (on the first floor) was super clean and surprisingly quiet—perfect for relaxing after a day out. Breakfast was simple but tasty, and the service overall was excellent. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a quiet, clean, and uniquely Scottish place to stay.
Stayed here for 3 nights previously. Well located. Staff are friendly. Music in the evening made for nice entertainment. The room was cosy and breakfast was reasonable. Good value for money. Wouldn't hesitate to book here again.
It was a really lovely stay for me and my friends. The rooms are clean and neatly arranged. They are ready to help with anything. Even the Scottish music played at night was fabulous. Thanks alot will definitely recommend to all!!
The staff was very friendly. We got a warm welcome and we also enjoyed some live Scottish music by Alan. The room was very neat and clean and services were excellent. Great place to stay with friends and family.

Staff very helpful, Parking & Breakfast inclusive Interior & rooms had a nice old look, linen clean, the place had hot water & is walking distance to touristic places. Live music was mind blowing & nostalgic.
