⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ **Absolutely Wonderful Stay!** We had an amazing experience during our stay at this hotel. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly lovely, welcoming, and always willing to help with anything we needed. Their warm hospitality truly made our stay special. One of the highlights was the **surprise waiting for us in the room**—such a thoughtful and personal touch that made us feel genuinely appreciated. The room itself was spotless, spacious, and equipped with everything we could possibly ask for. We were especially impressed with all the essentials provided, including a **microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, and dryer**, which made our stay so much more convenient and comfortable. It felt like a home away from home. Overall, we couldn’t be happier with our stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and outstanding service. We will definitely be back! The hotel is in a great location. The staff is very polite and helpful. The rooms are large and have the comfort like a home. They have everything you need. Even though our flight was at 8 p.m., they offered to let us leave our luggage at the hotel after check-out, which was very thoughtful. The hotel met all our needs in every way. I would definitely stay here again.

Huge shout out to Lewis/Louis who helped us in the middle of the night navigate the Edinburgh emergency medical services and helping us get a ride to hospital at 0400! Great place to stay with a full kitchen, a separate bedroom, and a lot of room for a European place to stay. The building is beautiful from the outside, and well decorated inside. The front desk is the bar area and check-in was done via tablet and very quick. The host helped us with keys, went over a few things and gave us directions to our room. The bedroom had more than enough light, a big window (not much of a view), a comfortable, clean bed and adequate plugs to recharge electronics. The small bedside lamps were great for low light and reading in the evening. The bathroom was big and had more than enough room for two people to get ready about the same time. The only real compliant is one of almost every European hotel - no plugs for a hair dryer and the lighting is not very good for a woman to do her makeup. The kitchen area had a full sink, enough plates and silverware for four people, mugs, cups, and wine glasses. The refrigerator was very large and the washer/dryer was neatly tucked away in a large cabinet. In the "living room" area was a couch, a chair, small desk with an office-type chair, and a pull out smaller table from under the desk. The Marshall Bluetooth speaker was a nice touch. Next to the desk was an armoir that had a mirrored door and contained the iron, ironing board and small safe. Room 205 is at the end of the hall so it was very quiet the entire time we were there.

Booked so that we could self cater but, even though there is a kitchenette, there is nowhere to eat. 4 person apartment but one chair! The hotel could only provide us with one key between 4 of us. So inconvenient No shower gel, tea bags but no milk, the shower didn’t drain properly. Scruffy central areas. Far too expensive for the quality provided

Room was nice but cleanliness was better in a hostel. Found blood and toenails in my bed which is odd because when I asked the front desk they said rooms are cleaned in-between people. I am doubting this since when I went to shower the soap bottles were also empty…oh well. For well over 300 pounds in a family room, you’d be better off booking somewhere else with higher cleanliness standards.

Our stay in Native Edinburgh during Christmas of 2023 was excellent. We had booked a 1 BR/BA apartment. The location is 20 min walk from Waverly Station and close to many attractions in the city. Apartment itself was warm, comfortable and cozy. Kitchen was well equipped with all utensils which helped us a lot during Christmas holidays as many of the restaurants were closed. Hotel had facility to vend unlimited milk from laundry room. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. We highly recommend Native Edinburgh for all the travelers.

The apartments are beautiful & very well kept & equipped. The only tiny bit I missed was milk for my tea. Everything else was perfect. The lounge area is very calming & tastefully done. The location is wonderful for someone who wnats to experience Edinburgh yet have a safe, peaceful place to come back to.

Me and my partner have had a wonderful 3 1/2 days in Edinburgh staying at the Native Aparthotel. It is in a great location, no need for a hire car either as everything is within a reasonable walking distance, but there are plenty of buses or trams for when it rains. In fact, I can honestly say we had zero issues apart from a non-working extractor fan in the bathroom of our apartment. Also friendly, helpful and cheerful staff at the reception desk. Thanks again.

If you need some space at an affordable price, this is the place. The room we had was huge—really a small flat. Very comfortable and clean. The staff was amazingly helpful at every turn. Just walking into the lobby from outside, someone always yelled 'Hello' from somewhere. The lobby also has a light breakfast available and wine or beer behind the bar. But, there is a terrific coffee place right next door that is amazing! You can walk to some great restaurants, shopping, and parks. Rose Street and Princess Street and only a few minutes away. We took the Hop On Hop Off to see the entire city but were able to walk to everything else we wanted to do. I recommend this hotel for a long or short stay. You can't go wrong. We hope to return someday in the future.

NATIVE Edinburgh was welcoming and accommodating. The staff answers all questions with a smile and goes above and beyond. We found the location to be perfect as most of the city attractions are within walking distance . Note, we do enjoy walking and the hills in Scotland will really keep you healthy. There is coffee in the room but you will not want to miss a morning latte in the cafe. Nice selection of breakfast and lunch sandwiches as well. There are fresh pastries, too. Our room was fresh and clean. The kitchenette was put to great use on evenings when we just wanted to stay in and relax. We look forward to returning to Scotland and to staying at NATIVE Edinburgh.
