   I've used the Premier inn Hub before and I love them. The rooms are small but if all you need in a room is a place to sleep and a place to wash with a TV to chill with at night then that's fine. Downstairs is lovely you can order some foods but they only have 5 items (which I'll add the menu if you want to see what) but if you want to gonout for food ans drink you have alot of choice from an indian up the road to adventuring the old town and a walk across to Princes street you'll find something. They do have a good selection of drinks if your wanting a nice quite night in

   Check in took a long time due to a family complaining asking for a full refund, one of the family members told us to not stay there and run they advised there room was disgusting!! Very alarming when you are awaiting to check in! Self checking machines both out of order! When checked in there was mold in the bathrooms!!! Hair strands around the bath tub and in the bath!! Mold on ceiling. Air temperature not regulated and no option to open the window slightly to get air into the room. Lack of towel's and toilet paper. No standard daily housekeeping even if you put the door card out for cleaning, 3 night stay and no fresh towels. Understaffed. Breakfast was ok if there was anything left lots of times you had to wait ages for there to be any food available at the hot buffet was not being stocked efficiently. Incompetent bar staff, drinks advertised but not available. Could hear staff member telling other staff member off. Other guests walked past after going to the bar and said never again and were shaking their heads in disgust. WiFi was extremely poor and unusable. Homeless and drug/drunk people across from hotel shouting. Stayed all across the united kingdom in premier inns and this was by far the worst, for the high price we paid was very disappointed. Have made a formal complaint. The location is excellent though, paid parking not far, across from the train station 5 mins walk to Royal Mile and a 10 min walk to Christmas market and town centre. I would avoid this hotel and find another hotel in the same location.

   Small but perfectly formed room. High tech panel on the bed to control the lighting in the room & bathroom. Only criticism is that if you want to watch the brilliant smart tv, you can’t stand your pillows up as it then presses on the control panel set in where the headboard would be. Minor detail, you don’t go to Edinburgh to watch tv. Staff helpful & continental breakfast more than adequate. Fabulous free coffee machine offering espresso, latte, cappuccino & flat white plus hot water & milk for tea available at all times. Only stayed overnight & it was perfect for our requirements.

   Decent hotel for the price, very good location just off the Royal Mile and a few hundred yards from the Waverley station. Rooms were fine, AC works on and off but cools the room nicely, which is a necessity since the window doesn’t open. Bathroom could use some better cleaning / maintenance but it does what it should. Overall a decent option if you’re in the inner city for a few days.

   We've stayed in many hotels in Europe. They are smaller than what we are used to in the states, but this room was way small. OK for one person. The bed is tucked in on 3 sides so you have to climb over your mate to get out. Mattress was comfortable. Pillows were too flat. The room was clean, except for the carpet. That was very stained, dirty, outdated. The bathroom is not private. It has glass walls that are frosted half way up. You can literally watch someone in the shower. So this room should be for a single person or maybe a close couple who have no secrets between them. The breakfast was very mediocre. The 24 hour coffee is instant. The staff was friendly enough. I would probably look for a hotel with a little more room to relax if I come back to Edinburgh.

   We had a lovely time here. The corridors have a comforting smell of cleaniness and at the same time like home. Lots of storage space in the rooms. Staff consists of young people, very friendly. Nice neighborhood, me and my friend enjoyed watching the people come to the office across from the hotel in the morning. On top of it all not expensive!

   very nice accommodation for the price! as some reviews mentioned the rooms are in need of a deep cleaning but nothing too rough. the showers drain was clogged which was unfortunate as the shower head was lovely. Staff was super helpful and nice the entire time and they have free tea/ coffee in the lobby 24/7 which was a very nice touch. the breakfast was great and i would highly recommend for the price it’s probably the cheapest around (i got porridge and pastries). they have free pastries sometimes in the lobby as well as a bar and some food options for most of the day. bed and pillows were also super comfy. Overall, I had a great stay and felt super safe as a solo traveler here. Location is also great: quiet but super close to everything. The only reason for 4 stars is because of the shower.

   Great value Premier Inn within walking distance of the train station and city centre. Staff were friendly and quick to resolve any issues we had. Clean rooms with comfortable beds. We only ate in the restaurant on one evening and the food was good value in terms of price but average. Breakfast however was very good with a large selection to choose from.

   This is a nice hotel for solo travelers or even two people! It's in a great location and right within walking distance to all the major things in Edinburgh. The interior is contemporary and everything is kept pretty clean. Unfortunately, there's no early check-in offered, so you'll probably have to wait until 3 pm. I kind of only have two main complaints about the hotel. The breakfast was sort of lousy. It had very limited options like just oatmeal, a few breads, and juices. They do have a free coffee machine in the area. My other complaint was that the rooms got pretty hot at night. The thermostat seemed to just have a mind of its own and run whenever even though I set it to cool. The TV in the room was also super laggy. Basically, it didn't work because it was slow, buggy, and outdated. Other than that, the room was comfortable and didn't feel overly claustrophobic despite being compact.
