We had the most amazing 4 night stay here. Every member of staff that we met was so friendly, helpful and polite. Our room had everything that we needed and was very clean. Breakfast was good but the evening meal that we had was exceptional. We chose to stay here rather than in central Edinburgh and we thought that we made a very good decision. It's a 15 minute drive to the park & ride at Wallyford and £5.10 return on the train which only takes 10 minutes to get to Waverley station. Overall, it was superb value for money - a fraction of what the Edinburgh hotels were charging. We would highly recommend staying here.

I stayed overnight and had a wonderful experience. The welcome at reception was warm, and my room was, clean, and very comfortable, with everything I needed. Dinner was lovely with great service and fair prices, and breakfast had plenty of choice. The hotel’s location is beautiful with stunning views. I’d definitely stay again!

This was a great find for us. When searching for accommodations along Scotland's Golf Coast, we were fortunate to find The Lodge of Cragielaw! While their golf course was not on our itinerary, it will be our next trip. The lodge is beautiful. Location is perfect. The three courses we played were all within short 20 minutes drive. Rooms were new and spacious. Service was exceptional and food was very good. Perhaps the best part of our visit was our interaction with their management staff. Very friendly, professional and very interested in making certain they met our needs. We would certainly recommend.

Couldn't ask for better, just an overnight en route to Inverness. Large comfortable room exceptionally clean and airy with a nice stock of teas, coffees, hot chocolate and biscuits. Staff were all lovely and couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. Breakfast standard full Scottish buffet served against the backdrop of the stunning firth. This hotel came up in my work booking app so will certainly add it as a favourite though I think I probably happened upon a good deal which will hopefully be replicated the next time I travel.

Lovely place, lovely staff, excellent service. I had to spent an unexpected extra night in Scotland because of a car breakdown, and they were the first place that had room for a family of 6. Location is excellent, great views from the lodge. Staff very friendly and great service. It made me wish I was a golfer so I would have a genuine reason to come back.

Great course, you wouldn't know it was only 20 years old.

Great place to stay and golf.Only downside is they have closed off the main lounge till 8pm unless your a member. You would think staying at the hotel would give you temporary membership. It did the year earlier.

Great place for kids golf, excellent practice facilities for the young, the beginner and the would be scratch player, excellent 18 hole course will test all who play, great food for the hungry golfer, I haven't stayed in the accommodation but I hear it's as good as the you can get for the holidaying golfer.

Great staff, so welcoming and accomodating. Lovely spacious room, but TV reception variable. Good food with a good view over the golf course. Excellent location to access all of the attractions of the "Golf coast" and much more
