Nice place. Very calm and quiet place to stay. Wake up early morning and had a nice view around this house. Love their fire log.
Stayed here for a week whilst visiting friends nearby. For me it was great, rustic but everything you need, great supply of wood for the fire (that I needed in Scottish summer!), warm shower, really comfortable beds, great location for exploring East Lothian. Perfect for a week for one or 2 people as well as it's main use I guess for people stopping one or two nights on cycling trips. Loved it.
If you're looking for small, basic accommodation and reasonable storage for three bikes then this is the place. Warm with the stove on it could do with more comfortable seating but it's still a little gem. Bring your own food or order delivery from a Haddington takeaway. We've been as a group of three and it is a good size for that. It sleeps six but that might be a squash.
We had a wonderful stay here, a well equipped, cosy and comfortable bothy. A great location. Lovely countryside and coastal walks.
Small but perfectly formed and a beautiful location. Great range of amenities for its size, and despite being cosy was certainly not cramped with two of us in there. Surrounded by fields but only 30 mins from Edinburgh. Would love to stay again.
It's such a beautiful little place with wonderful views, a great little wood stove and brilliant cycling. Bells Bothy is magical and people always have a great time, even if the weather outside isn't so great. I would recommend it highly.
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in the bothy, it was a welcome get away after being in the city for a while. The countryside is really beautiful, and the location of the bothy perfect. The owner was extremely attentive and ensured it was smooth for me. The bothy was really clean and cosy, simple to use. The fire was particularly enjoyable! Thank you =)
