   We were looking for cheap and cheerful. We were surprised at the apartment layout. It was great and really suited our group (5 adults). We drove from the west of Ireland and were delighted to have our own private rooms and bathrooms and a shared living space for the group. Everything was clean and tidy. The kitchen was well kitted out and would really suit a family also. The location was good for visiting nearby attractions like Stirling castle and Bannockburn etc. The chap working there was a gentleman and kindly helped us get a taxi one evening. Encounters with other guests were very pleasant. Aldi and Lidl were nearby also. A very nice place to stay

   Very calm location. Plenty of parking space. Friendly staff. Rooms were clean and spacious. Kitchen facility with all cutlery available. You can cook food. Bunglow has washing machine were u can do laundry.

   Amazing for the price. There was no internet during the last 2 days, likely due to rain and the bed could be better. You really can't complain though when you're even getting a kitchen and pay so little for a room.

   This place had the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in with no questions asked! I pulled the blinds and slept right through the night. I love how the room has the old school dorm room feeling like in the movies

   Excellent - reception staff could not be more helpful and friendly. Single en suite room and shared kitchen with all mod appliances. Would have been 5 stars overall if there had been more cutlery and crockery. Three knives and forks is not enough for a shared kitchen

   Always clean if basic. Kitchen lacks some equipment bring your own knives forks etc nevertheless I’ve used this hostel quite a few times. Staff always helpful. I’d recommend it

   A nice place to stay, rather basic, but there's everything you need. We had a whole apartment to ourselves, as we were here with our two children (6 and 10). The girls just loved having their own room and bathroom and said they quite envied the students... The kitchen was big, the equipment could have been cleaner - the microwave smelled as if something had exploded in there (which was probably true...), BUT as it's students' accommodation, this is not surprising. We would have liked the chance of getting coffee/tea/breakfast there, but we just bought the basics. So: if you are looking for a reasonably-priced place to stay, this is perfectly fine. The staff were very friendly!
