Was at an event rather than staying over. The staff and service was excellent, the venue super pretty (cool.blend of traditional and modern) the food was really good. Carpark was crazy busy, it could not have been the numbers at the event we were at.
We chose Dalmeny Park for our wedding day on 11.10.25. We found Dalmeny to be the perfect venue and so glad we chose here. The venue is stunning as well as the grounds. The staff are second to none. They were all polite, helpful and very efficient. Aimee our wedding coordinator was the best person ever, a key part of our day and whole planning process which she made so easy. We have also had meals here on different occasions & the food has always been superb. We can’t wait to return!
We had our wedding at Dalmeny Park 21/10/25. The venue itself is beautiful as is the rooms (dressing room, honeymoon suite) and the ceremony room also. The grounds surrounding Dalmeny are gorgeous and although it was raining our wedding day, there were still lots of amazing photo opportunities. The meal was delicious and all dietary needs were met. Our wedding coordinator Aimee was outstanding. Her attention to detail and literally every little thing we could think of she made happen. She made sure everything ran smoothly which took lots of stress of myself. She was also attentive to myself and groom as well as our wedding party! Would recommend Dalmeny as a venue choice to future brides❤️
We had our wedding at the Dalmeny Park House Hotel a few days ago and it was the most perfect day. The venue itself is beautiful, but it was all the attention to detail on their part that made it run so smoothly. The dressing room, the honeymoon suite, the beautiful grounds were all amazing. But really it all came down to our wedding coordinator Aimee. She is so calm and attentive. Nothing was too much bother. She thought of things that never even crossed our mind, and so many of our guests have been telling us how helpful and thoughtful she was, checking in on all 20 of our tables making sure everyone was getting on ok. The food was also the best food I’ve ever had at a wedding and again, all of our guests were raving about it. Thank you Aimee, and everyone else at the Dalmeny for the best day.
We stayed one night here before traveling north. It is in a very quiet area and easy to find. Parking was right on grounds. Staff very helpful and offered to make a reservation for our meal that evening. The rooms were clean and well proportioned. They had the pull out made up already for our daughter which was very accommodating. Breakfast was enjoyable and very delicious. Serving staff attentive. Would stay again.
Went for lunch for a catch up with a friend. The food was brilliant and tasty. Great portion sizes. Staff friendly and helpful. Definitely go back. Didn't stay here.
Food was fantastic and no complaints whatsoever and the restaurant was very clean and tidy. Arrived for lunch at 3.30pm. On arrival shown to a table and asked for our drinks which then took 15 minutes to arrive only after going to the bar area to ask for them. We then had to go to the bar once again for water/coffee/lager as no service at all later on. Very disappointed in the service and felt as though quite glad to clear tables rather than concentrate on diners. Level of service would put me off in the future and to promote within a business environment.
I stayed for 2 nights for my daughter's wedding. The night before we slept in a dirty bed and the toilet ran the whole night. I have pics and a video of these issues but unfortunately can't upload them. The 2nd night my grandson was made to sleep in a travel cot without a mattress. The food was disappointing too. I have had much better experiences with cheaper accommodations. Most of the staff were very nice. On the surface this place looks lovely but underneath absolutely disappointing and not anywhere near value for money. I would advise people not to waste their hard earned money by staying here.
Lovely place to meet someone for a nice coffee/tea and cake. Really good selection of vegan cakes too. I particularly enjoyed the lemon cheesecake type one. Lovely view of the gardens and the place has really nice clean decor. Staff are helpful and friendly without being intrusive.
Beautiful property and nice room. The only drawback was the room above the main entrance was a bit noisy late into the night with people departing and the door closing passes noise into the room. The highlight was dinner, with wonderfully prepared dishes with complimenting flavors and much thought put into the pairings. Lovely and attentive staff in the dining room.
