I recently visited this cinema for the first time and I was super impressed. It was so comfortable, the screen and sound quality was the best Iβve experienced and the staff were so nice and helpful. There was a good choice of food and drink and the venue was spacious and clean. Itβs slightly dearer for tickets for the IMAX but itβs well worth it. The only downside was the cost for parking (Β£8.50 which is very steep) and it would be good to have a little more room to stretch out - itβs a pity they donβt have recliner seats like some of the other cinemas. Iβd definitely recommend visiting this cinema - we went to see Interstellar which was amazing on the big screen. You truly feel like you are immersed into the film and I didnβt want the experience to end. This cinema is well worth a visit.

Just out having seen Superman. Paid Β£25 for an adult and child which is pretty expensive when you consider its an old cinema now. Seats are extremely uncomfortable any more than 5ft 5 and you will really feel it. The one thing which really really ticked me off was the staff. The male attendants in the theatre were utterly rude. Refused to allow people to leave by the upper exit even though our seats were at the top next to the exit and allowed others to leave by this exit then started raising their voice and shouting- go down the stairs at a group of about 10 of us. Attitude was rank and dont appreciate being shouted at like a child. Won't be back! I HAVE EMAILED IN AS REQUESTED HAVENT HAD A RESPONSE YET.

The cafe in the Science centre was closed and had to have food in the IMAX coffee shop. The staff didn't seem to have had any training and were unable to advise on the type of muffins that were available, which is worrying if they can't advise on allergens. We asked for paninis which they said had sitting in the heated storage area with hot lights, but they were placed in their hopefully straight from the fridge. We were advised to wait for them to heat up and they would only take a few minutes. However 20 minutes later they said that they were luke warm and it would be ok for us to have them now. My group said that they would need to heat them up in the toaster machine before they serve them. This is very worrying that they don't seem to have had any Food Hygiene training and are unaware of the temperature that hat food should be served at.

Came here as a kid to watch the Simpson movie when it came out and now I have brought my own kids here as part of the science centre experience to watch βBeautiful Planetβ and it was their first experience of 3D which was magical for them. We arrived at early for the screening and the staff were brilliant by directing us to the best seats in the theatre. .. And itβs still got the biggest cinema screen in Scotland.

Great cinema, staff are polite and helpful, venue is clean and tidy. The screen itself is huge and enveloping and the sound is stellar. Only gripe is the comfort of the seats, and there is no arm room without knocking the person next to you

Great visit, film was fantastic, the space was clean and the staff were helpful and friendly. The prepaid parking at the time of booking the tickets led to some confusion when trying to leave the car park. Customer services were very helpful though, and they've adjusted their email communications to make the instructions clearer for prepaid parking validation. Looking forward to returning soon!

Great place for kids and variety of science galleries and hands-on displays. Bit disappointed with the planetarium show, was expecting some nice story and advanced graphics. But can understand, it's all about kids at first. To mention, the staff is humble and always there to assist and guide.
