Saughton park is always a treat. Well kept, always free and has indoor greenhouses in case of bad weather. The gardens are fantastic with lots of colour in spring and summer. The band stand is a stand out feature and has live music periodically. A genuine asset to the west side of Edinburgh. The cafe can be busy, but rightly. It has good food and is perfect for a cuppa.

I love Saughton Park. It's such a lovely space to spend sometime. I usually go there for lunch with my partner anytime we're up that way. We'll get a takeaway and sit at one of the many picnic benches or find a nice spot on the grass if the weather's nice. The park itself is so clean and well kept. The flowers are absolutely stunning, especially in spring and summer, when all the colours are so bright. I love the mix of plants and wild flowers, there is also a hot house with cacti and other plants from hot places. There is a cafe and picnic benches. Plenty of benches throughout the park. Toilets and disabled toilets. Wheelchair accessible. Children's play park and skatepark for all levels of skating and skateboarding. Water fountains are available for drinking water. There are a few pieces of gym equipment, such as exercise bike, cross trainer. Electric charging ports Carparking available but not a huge carpark

One of my favourite gardens in Edinburgh, itβs enjoyable to walk around or inside the park. The garden has a collection of different kind of flowers, either wild flowers and blossoms planted by gardeners from spring to summer. The garden is not huge but enough size to be awesome. Apart of that, the park has a coffee shop, playground area for kids, area for skaters and bikes, basketball and football fields and beautiful interior gardens with fish tank included. Everything in one place, what else you can ask for.

A lovely place to visit, with beautiful gardens and a wide variety of herbaceous borders. Good parking to the west which is quieter than the spaces at the greenhouse and skatepark. Garden bistro cafe is lovely to visit as well.

Despite being quite busy with families enjoying a lovely sunny day, it was so peaceful here. It was weird to think Gorgie Road was just over the wall! I enjoyed a relaxing, stress-reducing afternoon here.

One of my favourite places due to the location - central to the City. Great place for a walk and talk. You can get coffee here, toilets are also present. Pleasant atmosphere, relaxing surroundings.

I've reviewed this before. It's a great place and very accessible. rose garden, walled garden, medicinal garden, garden bistro with inside and outside bookable tables, play park, skateboard park , playing fields accessible toilet, all level access, helpful and friendly staff. One thing I personally distinctly do not appreciate is the loud music they play inside the garden bistro. This morning (7 Sept 2021) I went for breakfast and coffee and sat outside but the doors were open and the music very loud. I come to the park because its quiet, so don't understand the need for canned music, but I know most people probably like it.
