Great place for walking, cycling, running, and just enjoying the peace and quiet. Great 360 degree view. Visitor Centre run by the Glasgow Science Centre is spotless, informative, with friendly and helpful staff.
This place is huge! Upon entering the site there are boxes where you can pick up a map. I didn't enter the visitor centre but took the dogs for a walk out to the viewpoint. It's beautiful! Definitely worth a visit. It also seems to be quite popular for cyclists. There is a good sized car park as well as an overflow car park. Free entry.
Had a lovely day here with a friend. Walked to the viewpoint and back. Wonderful environment, lots of wildlife, plenty of room on paths to pass other walkers with dogs etc, swallows everywhere, wild orchids, wonderful grasses and rushes NO bracken(hurrah). Quite other worldly among the turbines which are oddly quiet. Only downside is you need a car to get there. Unless you're a cyclist. Would be great if there were a couple of buses a day even from Eaglesham or Busby connecting with other services. Very nice friendly staff and good cafe.

Great place to walk the dogs. Plenty of parking. The visitor center is educational and interesting with a nice little cafe looking out over the wind farm. Keep in mind this place has its own weather system it was very well placed.
Visitor centre is in a good location And a great base to explore the windfarm, whether that is on foot or on bike. The cafe is OK, there is not much hot food offerings, really feel like they are missing a trick here. Also limited outdoor seating however they have a large mostly empty decking area. The windfarm is great for a walk, make sure to ask the j for desk for a nap.
Really enjoyed our visit. Beautiful visitors centre. Lots of parking. We took the dog and walked for miles around the windmills. If you enjoy walking then this place is amazing.
Great place for a walk, different length trails for beginners and advanced etc. cafe is pretty decent for a small bite to eat
Do you like an outdoor walk? You’ve got to try here. Such lovely paths with lots to see & do. The coffee shop serves great coffee & cakes which very priced very reasonably too.
