βI had a very pleasant experience at the Glasgow Consulate, and I would especially like to appreciate Sir Akmal for his outstanding service. He was incredibly friendly, respectful, and accommodating throughout the process. His approachable manner and willingness to help made everything smooth and stress-free. Itβs rare to come across someone so genuinely kind and patient in an official setting. Thank you, Sir Akmal, for your professionalism and warm attitude β it truly made a difference.β
βVery nice and QUIET hotel located between George Square and Argyle Street. The staff were very helpful and attentive and the rooms were clean and well kept. Tea, coffee and hot chocolate are available for free whereas breakfast is optional for a daily fee in advance or on the day. We opted out of breakfast and used one or other of the nearby cafΓ©s. Glasgow Queen Street and Glasgow Central Stations are within 10 to 15 minutes walk and the shopping delights of Argyle Street or Buchanan Street are close by. This us the nicest hotel we have stayed in in Glaagow for a while and we will be back!β
βI had a very good experience with Mark Rigby at IAS, he was able to answer all my questions about heading to the UK and even suggested a different visa than I knew about to consider applying for. It was both efficient and pleasant.β
βHad an excellent stay and wanted to give a big shout-out to the team, especially Stuart and Devlin. From the moment we arrived, Stuart was welcoming, friendly, and genuinely interested in making sure we had a great time. He gave us brilliant recommendations for places to visit around Glasgow, and his knowledge of the cityβs history was honestly amazing. We ended up exploring a few spots he mentioned and loved themβit really added something special to the trip. Dinner was another highlight, and Devlin deserves huge credit for that. The service was outstandingβreally attentive and relaxed, perfectly timed, and full of great suggestions. It made the meal feel like an experience rather than just a quick bite, and the food itself was fantastic. Also, a shout-out to the new girl who was working that nightβwe didnβt catch her name, but she was lovely and handled everything with confidence and a smile. Youβd never have guessed she was new. The whole team worked together seamlessly, and it made our stay genuinely memorable. Weβll definitely be backβ
βAll I can say is exceptional!!! After travelling from south England to them to get passport renewed. I Cannot believe how efficient and pleasant this place is to deal with. Had a major issue and they were so kind and supportive. If I have to use the service then I would happily travel to them. Shame I canβt give 10 stars Worth the trip. Scottish peopleβs hospitality in general was amazing. Scots you should feel proud of your countryβ
βLoved staying here! A 5/10 mins walk from Central Station The rooms are perfect for a weekend away with all you need. Caitlin at reception was a star: courteous, kind, and gave us a welcome drink when checking-in; also shout out to her supervisor, who helped us out the entire stay! The beds are comfortable, room was clean, and every need had been met. Would recommend for anyone wanting to visit the beautiful Glasgow, as it is super close to the main attractions all by foot. (also available next to it a bus stop!)β
βWas greeted by excellent front desk staff who were INCREDIBLY helpful and cheery. Room was clean and fit for purpose. Breakfast in the Novotel was great value (& fresh). Check-out staff (at 5am!!) also went above and beyond to help with my boarding pass. I HIGHLY recommend the Ibis Hotel if you are staying in Glasgow!β
βDear sir/madam, I just want to state that I have been living in Scotland for the past few years and to no avail I have not been granted for a right to stay in this country. I am unable to go back to my own country mainly because i have been faced with violence which deters me going back and have no choice but to come into Scotland as I fear my life would be in danger if I were to be deported back. I have no means of money as I am not allowed to work in this country without any permission. Please I plead with you to let me have the right to stay in this country and to be given the right to work. I am unable to support myself any longer with no job which means no money. I do not want to be seen as an illegal immigrant and so I plead with you to have some compassion on myself. Regards Chenβ
βThe staff at this hotel were so kind upon check-in! The room was also cleaner than the hotel I stayed at in Edinburgh. For a basic hotel before your flight this was a great choice for me, no frills but cleanliness and friendliness. The dinner and breakfast menu also had expansive options, including vegan, and looked delightful. I did not eat it though!β
βOn June 20th, 2023, my children and I had the pleasure of visiting GIC in Glasgow. During our visit, we were accompanied by a UofG student who provided us with a comprehensive campus tour, including the dormitory. The experience was truly remarkable and left a lasting impression. I am hopeful that my children will have the opportunity to attend GIC and continue their education at UofG in the coming year. Thank you for the wonderful experience.β

βExcellent service from Alexander. Provided clear guidance and requirements for preparing our EUSS family permit application, based on which he then completed all the forms himself and submitted the application on our behalf. The application was succesful. Always very prompt in responding to our queries. We'll be using his services for the next stage of the application as well. Highly recommended!β

βI came to Kevin with a case that had been in a firm in Edinburgh until they merged with a more prominent firm. As the defenders in my case were with the new firm, I needed to find a new home for myself and my tough case. I was offered more at Livingston Brown than at my previous firm. Kevin took my case on with professionalism, incredible due diligence, and excellent communication skills, and he takes his client's mental health and other concerns seriously. He has impeccable patience and knows when to fight and when to hold steady. His advice is fair, truthful and honest. There are no frills and gadgets to man over with Kevin. What you need is what you get. Being outside Scotland didn't have any bearing on the case, and I am happy that Kevin and his team got me a good result. I highly recommend Kevin and his team at Livingstone Brown for any of your issues.β

βI'm writing a bit late about the awesome team at HR Consultancy. I dealt with two different Jackies on the team ad they were both brilliant. One quick meeting to go through my experience and then I had frequent calls offering to put my CV forward. Jackie even ended up getting me two interviews in one week and I ended up taking a position with one of these. Working with HR was painless and quick and they were always good at explaining the roles, location and salaries. Jackie even called me on the day of both interviews to make sure I was ready and had all the info I needed. Thanks!β
βLittle hard to find out the building entrance, it's next to Cafe Nero on Hope Street. Quite helpful staff. They were so accommodative, patient and responsive. In my case, an executive named Sonali has helped me through out the process and completed the application smoothly. I would suggest just be on time!β
