This hotel was not that bad but also not that great. They have a lot of things to improve on. Firstly the lifts don't work at all, we have to wait for almost 30 mins for it to work. The doors of the lift don't close so ppl can't even access them. We had to wait forever although we were early but reached late because of the lifts. The bathroom had no rubber mats near the shower so we can't help if it gets wet. The toiletries were not refilled. They have a lot of stuff so horrible. The room wasn't cleaned properly like the towels were still wet, the floor wasn't vaccummed. This hotel wasn't up to the expectations.

Hotel itβs self great, breakfast- outstanding!! Gym perfect and great location. Staff lovely. Would I go back? No! Why? Because they have AS living in this hotel while still open to the public. They park their delivery bikes outside . Absolutely shocking and really let down my stay. Why this is allowed to happen Iβll never understand

Loved staying here! A 5/10 mins walk from Central Station The rooms are perfect for a weekend away with all you need. Caitlin at reception was a star: courteous, kind, and gave us a welcome drink when checking-in; also shout out to her supervisor, who helped us out the entire stay! The beds are comfortable, room was clean, and every need had been met. Would recommend for anyone wanting to visit the beautiful Glasgow, as it is super close to the main attractions all by foot. (also available next to it a bus stop!)

If I could give zero stars, I would. Iβve stayed in Novotels all over the world and have always found them reliable, comfortable, and good value. That trust has now been completely shattered. Novotel has made the baffling decision to rip out traditional air conditioning and replace it with a so-called βecoβ system that gives guests absolutely no control. The logic is this: if itβs hot outside, the hotel might cool the building; if itβs cold outside, it might heat it. Guests are left stuck with whatever setting management decides, regardless of how stifling or freezing their rooms feel. The tiny windows barely open, meaning there is no real airflow at all, itβs like sleeping in a sealed box. This isnβt sustainability, itβs greenwashing. The amount of energy they are realistically saving is negligible compared to the huge price hikes in room rates. The only thing being reduced is guest comfort. You canβt seriously claim to be a premium hotel while charging more and offering less. The result is an experience that is deeply uncomfortable, incredibly frustrating, and entirely dismissive of guest wellbeing. Novotel used to be a brand I could count on, but this change is such a blatant cost-cutting measure disguised as environmental responsibility that it makes a mockery of their customers. Until they reverse this short-sighted decision, I wonβt be staying at another Novotel again and Iβd advise anyone who values a good nightβs sleep to think twice before booking.

Really nice hotel. Nice modern rooms. Got very hot at night due to no air conditioning. Breakfast wasn't that great, it tasted very cheap

Everything you would expect from a Novotel or an Accor 4 stars. Room was clean, most of the staff was amazing and the gym/sauna/steamroom are brand new. Book in advance to get a good rate

Hotel management and staff are very rude, they are completely out of their place. The customer service is poor and the hotel management is looking forward to take a profit out of any situation, without any intent to actually solve issues or create value for customer. They canceled our reservations, just because they were made well in advance and at a fair price, so they could give the rooms for 2x the price to other customers. Their reasons are simply lies. One of the worse, if not the worse experience with a hotel in my entire traveling history. Shame on you!

Nice hotel. Good size room. Everything was in order and clean. Breakfast was great too. Excellent location minutes away from buses and train lines and walking distance to plenty of activities in downtown Glasgow.

Big heartfelt thank you to Claire on reception who went above and beyond the realms of customer service to make me feel welcome and at ease. I'd give that lass a pay rise and make sure I kept her if she worked for me. David also, for going out if his way to verify the max height of the underground carpark-information which lead to me removing my roof rack and parking successfully down there. I'd totally recommend this hotel on the front of house staff alone, they are top drawer. A star was removed for the inefficient lift to the car park with no option of a stairs. This was infuriating at times!
