   My husband and I have recently returned from the 15 day tour, The Great Scottish Tour & the Mystic Islands. This magnificent, comprehensive and balanced tour included a drive around Scotland and the isles of Orkney, Lewis & Harris and Skye. From our first contact via email, the company was very quick to respond and very patient in answering my many, many questions. When we travel, we like to use a local company that is very familiar with their country and the sites to see.  Because of their knowledge and experience, the trip included all of the "must sees" and was very balanced.  There were always a few surprises as well, which was always fun and a nice addition. They took care of all of the details such as airport transfers, accommodations, tickets, etc. so all we had to do was enjoy the trip. And, we did!  Alberto was a very cautious driver and one of the most patient guides we have ever had.  He tried very hard to do whatever he could to keep us happy. He helped with luggage, kept me from falling into streams as we clammered over some large stepping stones, stopped at grocery stores plus many other things. The trip itself was well paced, which is what we like.  Our days didn't start too early but were packed with great sites. Although accommodations are limited on the isles, we were overall very pleased, especially since they were situated in the heart of the villages and towns.  The sites and places we visited were very representative of the best of what Scotland has to offer. Fabulous castles, breath-taking viewpoints, stone circles, lush forests, prehistoric dolmens, lighthouses, whisky tasting, etc. Alberto's love for Scotland was obvious and that helped us feel the real spirit of Scotland. It is difficult to spend a 15 day tour and not have anything to complain about, but we can honestly say we enjoyed everyday, especially since the weather cooperated MOST of the time.  We also were very happy they offered this extended trip because the isles and the Highlands were our favorite locations. So, a very special thanks to all that made our trip so fantastic.

   Magical tour around Scottish castles and history. STI employee very professional, telling stories and interesting moments from queens and kings life with good sense of humour. He took me to places which are out of regular tours. Excellent accommodation in castles. Good food on the way with local beers, whiskey and folk music. I will remember my tour for long.
