I had an amazing trip to Morocco with Flavours. From the moment we stepped through the door, our Flavours hosts and the local staff were there to look after us. From afternoon tea, to freshly prepared and colourful Moroccan meals, or guided tours of the gardens, nothing was too much trouble. Trips to Marrakech to visit the souks & Majorelle Gardens, as well as walk to visit a Berber house in the beautiful countryside, gave us a flavour of the friendly and welcoming Moroccan culture. And the Pilates? Having not really done much Pilates for many years, our instructor, Diane, paced the sessions perfectly; building throughout the week so that I finished the week feeling strong and, inspired to pick it up again when I got home. Thanks for a wonderful trip!

I had a fantastic, relaxing week with Flavours in Sicily. A lovely location with great hosts. The balance between cooking, sight-seeing and chilling by the pool was perfect. The lessons were aimed firmly at the home cook and great fun. I felt very well looked after.

An amazing holiday with Flavours in an incredible Palazzo in beautiful Maglie. Everyone I met was charming and the tutor/host Carlo was incredible and made everything such fun. My only advice is that if you are thinking about a language holiday and are a complete beginner, is to do some Duolingo or similar as soon as possible before the trip.

A fabulous painting holiday from start to finish. A beautiful villa in Puglia, wonderful food and wine and a really brilliant painting tutor, Deirdre, who brought the best out of all of us - beginners and seasoned artists alike. The itinerary was perfectly balanced and trips well organised and our group of 8 (perfect size) was lovely - we’re all still in touch. Thank you, Flavours, for a memorably happy week.

I have gone on many Flavours holidays and have always had a brilliant time. I have been to Sicily, Puglia and Amalfi in Italy. I've also been to Loch Lomond and Elie, Fife in Scotland. I can honestly say I cant pick fault with any of them and have always enjoyed myself. If you have any doubts about going on holiday on your own, then you will have no worries. You are always made to feel welcome and even part of the family, from your initial contact with the staff at HQ to being there and looked after by the staff at the villa. There is a well balanced mix with enjoying days out and taking part in the cooking or painting or whatever you have chosen to do. From socialising with your guests to taking some time on your own. The accommodation with the food is always of a very high quality and they take a great pride in making sure everything is right for you. I cant sing their praises high enough. Ive booked my second holiday for this year, and already looking at next years.

My first holiday alone was with Flavours was in 2019 to Tuscany. A painting holiday was suggested by a friend. I looked on line. There was a fairly long list of painting holidays......... Flavours holidays jumped off the page as on their holidays the group size was small, and you didn't travel as a group. Everything was arranged for you. Met at the airport or train station, by your host, transferred to your accommodation (In wonderful, old private villas, with bedroom and on suite bathroom). In fabulous locations both in Europe (with a pool ) and Scotland. On arrival you will meet the other guests. Some there on their own and some with a friend or even husband but always, like me, there are solo travellers...Often from overseas. The food is always amazing, cooked by a Flavours private chef and the Tutors are not only experienced artists, but fun. If you, like me, are on a painting holiday it doesn't matter if you have experience or have never picked up a paintbrush before. You're on holiday... there's time to swim, relax, take a walk, shop and by the time you leave you may even have painted something you like. It's not a competition, just so relaxing. Also, I can bet, like me, you will be looking forward to booking your next Flavours holiday. The itineraries are always an interesting mix. Trips out with our tutor in our private mini bus to visit local towns, restaurants, villages, markets, etc and it's up to you how you spend your time either sketching, relaxing , sightseeing etc. Since 2019 and my Tuscany holiday I have been on other Flavours holidays in Europe and Scotland. I have enjoyed the company of people I have met, some becoming new friends and am looking forward to my holidays, this year with Flavours .. ..of course.

I loved my holidays with Flavours. I went on holiday alone for the first time which I was very apprehensive about. I shouldn’t have been because I always felt safe and well looked after and met amazing people. I went on holiday to Puglia, Sicily, and Morocco all to practice Pilates. I learnt so much from Mandy and Susie- kind and experienced teachers. There were so many good things about going away with Flavours it was a wonderful way to travel alone and learn or develop a skill. Thank you all at Flavours Holidays - you offer a rich, authentic and unique experience. Perfect for me!

If your thinking of a flavours trip and have doubts about solo travel or fitting in with the group etc it is normal to have these feelings and thoughts . Yes it's a big step if you haven't travelled solo before but be assured I felt like that on the first trip and my worries went away as soon as I was picked up at the airport and met the group and host. A flavours holiday is a truly wonderful experience and I have been on a total of three now . Have met many people from all walks of life and have remained friends with many . In fact two ladies I met on my first trip to Puglia have since joined me on a flavours trip to Amalfi . We are all celebrating big birthdays this year and are meeting up in London for lunch at Eataly and possibly discuss another trip in the future . Just go with an open mind and I can say it was better than I could of imagined . For any doubters out there I hope to one day read your messages on flavours site !

Flavours in Puglia was not for me. The cooking experience was basically chopping up vegetables, making pasta and watching someone else cook. The days out were uninspiring; a pottery shop and materiel shop. The visit to the winery was good and informative. The place we stayed in the huntsman’s lodge was tired and in need of some TLC, the electric kept crashing at night. I don’t think it was worth the money and sadly the food was disappointing.
