Today needed help with cream for skin on hands which were in pain. Problem explained and cream was actually made up for me by pharmacy. Just wanted to say thank you so much as I am already feeling/seeing a difference. Great service.

This is a desperately needed and well used Pharmacy. They have been very helpful and bent over backwards to help us source meds we have needed. They have been stalwarts even when other Pharmacies in the town and elsewhere have let us and others down and Boots picked up the slack on more than one occasion from them as well. They work under immense pressure and we are very appreciative.

Awful pharmacy. Terribly slow every time you visit to pick up a prescription. You actually dread visiting when the day comes. Just spent 35 minutes in the queue to be told the it won’t be ready for another two days - fair enough, not their fault. Asked for an emergency dose for three days. Got told to wait to the side until it’s ready. Waited another half hour before deciding to ask if they’d forgotten - needless to say they had. Absolutely no apology and they continued serving. I ended up leaving as I couldn’t bare to wait any longer. Perhaps instead of singing along to the radio in the background they should focus on the customers and get things right. No wonder people get angry. The funny thing is, there’s a sign saying ‘respect the staff’. It should work both ways….

Always been really helpful towards me. and the locums that's coming from Glasgow is amazing ;) Bertha :) shes amazing and jen the manager is so helpful which is no longer at that shop. Now theres a new manager Lewis. He has got the place up to date with all the prescription, but theres not a permmint pharmacist. Its different every week And sometimes the locum dont know where everything is so things go missing and cant find nothing. I wish it could go back before the plandemic 2019 when shop opened on time and they knew you and they never judge you But there one pharmacist that is very rude, even when u say THANK YOU etc But it's doing better for now Fingers crossed stays better

Terrible service in boots dalkeith. Pharmacy busy through no fault of their own they get like that. Buying service desk no one at it. One staff member in the corner of the shop not very attentive. Stood waiting for 10 minutes as the staff member fingers make up samples in the corner rather than serving customers. Also heating is obviously not issue, place was roasting. Ended up dumping the stuff I wanted to buy and leaving. Don't bother.

Today I went to Boots to buy one item. There were many signs asking customers to queue up in the pharmacy line and to be patient. That was fair enough and reasonable. However, having been third in the queue and having waited for 15 minutes, I asked that one of the three staff go to the till as there were three on duty. One was clearly the pharmacist and she was having a problem finding a woman’s prescription. Another member of staff just stood and watched her. As a result of asking, and stating that I thought a 15 minute wait was patient enough, a belligerent middle aged woman assistant appeared and was extremely rude, hostile and angry. The queue behind me had about 8-10 other people waiting to pay for goods. I’m assuming that the pharmacist was the one who rushed to a till and started to take our money. Well done to her but really, there were three members of staff and not one of them had the common sense to serve the customers until I asked politely if someone could serve. Most disappointing service and totally unnecessary to be so rude and challenging.

The pharmacy one of the staff was moaning and shouting at customers and me who works for the Scottish ambulance service as a senior manager no need for it because thier is only 3 staff on today to cover the shop and pharmacy but no away to treat people like that and I give her advice to speak to the Manger but recorded to her she spoken to her Manger already. And the staff member who it is was Carol today in the shop.
