   There are 3 pharmacies at least in Portobello but this is my favourite. The service from the manager and her team is exceptional, each time I visit. I used the NHS Pharmacy First Scotland service yesterday and was able to sit with the pharmacist to resolve my issues without going to the GP. During my conversations with the manager and my consultation with the pharmacist I was taken care of and listened to and successfully helped. Great, thorough, caring service.

   I was served by gemma today. Gemma has the most fantastic personality her people skills are outstanding she was so kind to an elderly lady in front of me If only everybody was like Gemma this world would be so different. I may sound a bit dramatic but its true.

   I popped into this pharmacy to hand in a prescription and to get some advice and medication with an irritable rash on my arm. I was welcomed with a very warm hello and a lovely smile from the lady who served. I handed over my prescription and my medication was ready in less than 5 minutes, super efficient. I then chatted to one of the pharmacists who recommended a couple of creams for my arm. Overall the service I received was top notch and nothing was any trouble for the 2 ladies who dealt either me. I normally don’t have a dedicated pharmacy and just go to the most convenient but the service I received today has changed my view and in future I will be taking my business here. Many thanks for your advice and support.
