I was pleasantly surprised when going in Matalan. The whole store looks bright and well laid out since the refit. I was served by Janet (didn't feel like self service,). She is a lovely girl very pleasant and friendly. Packed all my items in my bag for me. All folded neatly. I'll be back !
I had 4 items to return due to not fitting as well as I would have liked, but I realised I had taken too long to return them and I was happy to receive a credit note for use later. I handed them over with my receipt - had a lovely member of staff dealing with me and she checked them and then credited my bank card for me. No questions, no quibbling just excellent service - thank you. I also have to congratulate you on the upgrade to the store - it is amazing, very modern and light. Good luck xxx
Matalan isn't a cheap as it was it when it first appeared on the scene. This is a big, bright shop with lots of stock and plenty of parking (but beware the parking cowboys "managing" the car park") but I'm not sure it's worth going out of your way for any more.
Called in today. WOW! Newly refurbished and what a great job! A whole new image in this store. The lighting has made a very tired store great again. The displays are really lovely and presented in such a way it makes matching items together so much easier. Lovely shopping experience.
East to find .easy to park as there are lots of spaces.£1 to park on there. large store and always a sale on .staff were helpful, not much for men in there, but that's the same everywhere you go .I only went for a voucher, but I did like a coat in sal, so I will go back and buy it as it was a bargain .
Now cant exchange without receipt got bought gift fot mothers day.

After not receiving my on line order, also spending time writing emails to customer service department and receiving automatic replies, I'm so pleased to say the Rhyl Branch staff today could not have been more helpful. I am, in future, going to just stick with shopping at the store as it is much better to deal with humans than an on line Robot. Well done ladies and thanks again for your advice, patience and customer service.
After a rubbish experience on Saturday having to use the self checkout which I hate, I had cause to return to the shop today. I didn't have much hope in getting my problem resolved, however it was and it was dealt with quickly and without fuss for which I'm very grateful. Thank you
