I am disabled and could not park in the disabled spaces as the were full but without blue badges displayed. So after I parked in a non disabled space a member of staff (cleaner) who worked in days inn hotel told us to move our car as this is her space as she works there. I told her she had a cheek to say she had more right to the space than us. She spoke very bad English and was likely from Poland. She then parked in the gridded part of car park which is for fire, police and ambulance so when I pointed out that she is not allowed to park in the grid she said as an employee that she was an exception as she worked there and that when ever there was an emergency (a staff member not turning up to work they relied on her to come in and cover therefor thatade her emergency staff. Absolutely appalling attitude. No one seems to care a few members of staff need clearing out badly.

Stay here lots for work. If it wasn't for the staff this place would be a complete dive. The room allocation is a lottery of what you will get that doesn't work or is broken. I don't understand why nothing is repaired, broken toilet seats, extraction fans, light fittings etc. I've never stayed in a room where everything works or isn't broken. And as dog friendly hotel sometimes the wiff of wet dog overpowers the room too. Also, don't expect a good night's sleep as most of the guests seem to think it's acceptable to talk in corridor, slam doors and constantly go back and forth until the small hours of the night. As you can see from the photos, it doesn't need millions spent but some spit and Polish it could be a dam sight better. The staff are lovely, professional and helpful. The standard of the rooms let them down and that's not fair. A handy man and a few grand spent would dramatically improve this place. If I picked where to stay I wouldn't choose here. Definitely worth spending a few quid more somewhere else.

Stayed there as was attending event. Convenient for Larkhall. Rooms a touch dated but clean and warm and well appointed. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would certainly stay again

Stayed 3 nights while working locally. It’s a budget hotel. Did the job for me. Clean room, easy booking and check in. Front staff are nice. Wasn’t noisy for me.

Wagons parked outside the window with the generator running all night literally can't sleep. This has happened twice now. Work booked the accommodation I've had the same room twice room 20. I've asked for a refund and was refused. They have no other rooms available It's 1.26 am I have a 15 hour days work ahead of me and no sleep again. Do not stay here Reception are aware of this problem but still let the room out. It's a disgrace

Very comfortable stay. The Days Inn Hamilton was very clean & well kept. Room was very clean. The only small complaint was the mattress could do with changing, quite lumpy & felt like I was going on rocky seas.

Location is great for people who are travelling onwards from the area, especially truckers or people driving further into northern Scotland. Service when checking in was great. Staff member who checked me in was very good and answered all questions I had and gave good advice in regards to local food options. Room was ok, it was clean and suited my needs as I needed a bed to crash more than a luxurious experience. It's outdated and rough around the edges but if you need a place to sleep, this is all you need.

Well this maybe should be called a motel rather than a hotel. When we arrived the staff were dealing with a police incident that was no fault of the hotel but didn't encourage us in the safety of the place. Staff were absolutely amazing helpful, friendly and professional even though they were dealing with a very difficult and volatile situation. We didn't notice any noise from the nearby M74 which was good however we did find rubbish on the floor in the room.which did make us wonder how well it had been cleaned. We slept OK not helped.y the ongoing noise from the police incident which seemed to take forever for the police to deal with. Again what didn't help was being woke up at 7;15am by the fire alarm which was triggered by a power cut. (Again not hotels fault). Unfortunately no breakfast at services as of power cut so not the best due to circumstances. Great staff though

We spent the night here as been on rd most of the day. Friendly staff, room was clean with all the facilities that we needed decent size bathroom too but unfortunately it did smell quite musky the bed was okay but a little bit on the soft side.

I booked at the last moment before leaving for the place. The prices are very reasonable compared to the last minute booking time. I had checked the reviews, it really met my expectations. The lady at the reception was very friendly and welcomed us at middle of the night. The rooms were very clean beyond expectation. Even when you leave for next day you can ask them to clean the room and it will be just perfect. The Wi-Fi is a little slow which is OK. It is near Glasgow which makes it really near to all the attractions as well as Edinburgh so travel literally easy.
