Got booked on here following a flight cancellation. Location is very central, just off George Square. Staff were very pleasant on arrival and departure and small dining area looked good. Room was very pokey with double bed and frosted glass bathroom area about a foot away from the bed. Bed hard against the wall on the other side. Was fine for one night and would be fine as a crash pad to explore Glasgow, but wouldn't really want to stay much longer here.

Great hotel! The rooms were modern, clean and well thought through. Yes, theyβre small and have no windows - but If you just need somewhere to put your head down, the beds are comfy, WiFi reliable, shower warm and food pressure and the location is brilliant. The 24 hour cafe downstairs is great for food and coffees too

We have just finished up on a wonderful weekend stay here in Glasgow. I brought my little daughter for her first time and the hotel was perfect to have as our base. I originally picked it due to having stayed before and being super close to the winter wonderland usually held in George square but realised far too late that it is being renovated this year and itβs a fair bit further on in Enoch and the green this year! Anyway. The hotel was lovely to us, the complimentary buffet and drinks such a welcome on our first night. Itβs super central and the hotel staff were so courteous and welcoming each time we came through the doors during our days here. Thanks everyone!

What a find! And thank you to the person who mentioned being a Z member. Their service was extraordinary...from early check-in, to a very nice room upgrade, to the amazing wine and cheese buffet for members on Tuesday and Saturday. The staff is friendly and accommodating...everyone and I do mean everyone went out of their way to take care of my needs... The rooms are small, but efficient and for a solo traveler more than adequate...excellent hot water, and a comfy bed with nice soft pillows... and they are close to the train station which is really nice when you have heavy luggage...Highly recommend this hotel and thanks to everyone for making my stay special (did I mention you also get wine and cheese every night)

Having stayed at Z Hotels in London, l didnβt hesitate to opt for the one in Glasgow. My daughter booked a queen sized room for my husband and l, with a window, which appeared perfect for our stay in Glasgow. When we arrived we found we were allocated a dingy disabled room with poor artificial lighting. The bed was hard and the bathroom had a tiny sink at low level designed for a wheelchair user and a pull down seat in the shower. Really not appropriate for two sprightly, albeit older people. When we complained we were immediately offered a large, bright room with a comfortable bed, which was so much more inviting and suitable for us. There was only one problem which was that the duvet was heavy and hard, very odd that it hadnβt been binned or recycled, but this too was rectified swiftly by the staff. Thereafter, we enjoyed our stay at the hotel. It was very clean and the staff were accommodating and pleasant. We enjoyed the delicious coffee and the complimentary cheese board that was available in the evening - such a great perk. I would definitely return to the hotel again, but would be vigilant in requesting one of the better rooms.

I love the compact rooms, they aren't for everyone but for a couple on short getaway it's perfect. The staff kept the room so tidy when we nipped out and kept on top of the mugs used and water. A little thing is I wish that in one nook of the room there was even just an extra shelf that would've been perfect to lay out a few of our things as if it had been a longer stay we would've started to run a little short on space. The bedding is amazing, pillows are very comfy and made us upset to return to our own bed and pillows, truly a comfortable experience. Very few things we didn't like on our stay, one issue we had was the TV does seem to dim as you get toward night time (could be dim all the time don't fully remember) both being night owls and coming back to the hotel at the end of the day meant to only time we used the TV you couldn't fully see what was on it, more of a pet peeve than a full issue.

Amazing hotel, one of my favourites in Glasgow, rooms are small but not suffocating, set out really well, staff are lovely, been given a discount on rooms and upgrades for visiting more than once. Great for a romantic city trip, right on the edge of George Square and same road as Queen St Station, down the road from Buchanan Bus Station and about a 10/15 min walk from Central Station. Make sure you check out the bathrooms, though, glass sliding doors with enough privacy for a partner but not enough for family!!! They also do cheese and wine for free past 6.30pm if you book directly with them!

The Z Hotel is good for people that have a short stay in Glasgow. The staff is friendly and the room was clean and very nice, it was only a bit small, but apart from that it was nice. I wouldn't recommend the breakfast in the Hotel, I would rather go and eat breakfast in a restaurant, because you only get intercontinental breakfast in the hotel. The intercontinental breakfast is good, but if you want a Scottish breakfast I would recommend eating out.

Beautiful old building, converted to a funky city centre hotel. Friendly, clean and perfectly located. My only gripe was the double bed is really small and (for me!) too soft (aren't I precious!!) The rooms are tiny, but I suppose totally adequate for a city stopover.

Very pleasant stay here at the Z Hotel. Hotel is located 2 minutes walk from Queen Street and is close to everything Glasgow has to offer. Very modern decor inside as well. Rooms are small but it is only a bed for the night and has a very good shower and bathroom so not something worth moaning about. I would have given this a 5 star but there were ongoing building works that I wasn't informed about which took place in the morning. I do think besides this the Z Hotel was perfect and I will definitely return.
