Excellent location, easy access, pub across the road, no light intrusion in the bedrooms, quiet if you're away from the lift and an EXCELLENT breakfast (first time in ages I've had soft fried eggs in a buffet breakfast and not egg Frisbee). Roons were a bit warm and the bar closed a bit early, but so dud the pub next door... Happy to recommend it.

Understaffed, but we were there at the start of check in and got checked in right away, but there were queues later on. It was a Friday in December and they were completely booked according to the receptionist. ( When I was getting something from the car he was helping a customer who hadn't booked find a room at a near by Premier inn). The room was clean and comfy, bathroom was nice, much prefer to have a proper shower so thumbs up for that. Only grumbles would be a slight wavering in the temperature as you have a shower, a very slow tap when filling the kettle and the room got really warm during the night even though we had the heating off (In December) we had to open the window early morning to cool the room a bit. So nothing of any real importance I would stay here again as we had no problems, the rooms were good, it was quiet and the staff I encountered were fine if a bit busy. We didn't eat at the hotel so I cannot comment on the food. thehotelreview

Had a disappointing interaction with a chap called Alan here who told us abruptly when I arrived with my mother-in-law that we had no room to stay in and he couldn't help us, even though we had paid and had a booking confirmation. One of two things happened here, either Premier Inn falsely advertises rooms at hotels that are full, takes your money then automatically cancels the booking within a couple of hours, then holds onto your money for up to fifteen days, which could be considered fraud... OR the hotel staff unilaterally cancelled the booking for some other arbitrary reason. Possibly a racist act after reading the guest surname? Speculation but concerning. After years of good customer experiences with Premier Inn this was pretty awful.

Stayed there as working close by (nightshift). Great room as Premier Inn's usually are. was very quiet and slept very well. Very welcoming staff. Car park isn't good for vans as spaces are just big enough for cars, so with vans or other larger vehicles spaces are limited. Overall 10/10

Stayed in room 102 and must say if your after a early night then this room not good as you can hear people walking up and down the stairs. The condition on carpets and walls in public area need a good clean but this has been a common thing on last few days in premier inn. The room is a typical room but the cleaning is not as good as it used to be I had hairs in shower area and carpet needed a clean as there was some crumbs again I have noticed this at other premier inn around the UK are they under staffed and rushing around? The staff on the night shift was great and breakfast staff was good as well they seem to be rushing around so again are they doing more due to lack of staff and this meant people had to wait at the reception or bar etc for longer than normal. I would stay again but definitely not in room 102 or near the stairs as they are noisy and hopefully has had a good clean down to make it nice in the public area.

Absolutely brilliant staff - very friendly, above & beyond. Rooms very clean & comfortable I could not fault it. Shower nice & hot. Restaurant staff all brilliant & very helpful. Tomasz on reception helped me with bus service, getting me some soya milk after work for a cup of tea, answered all the questions I asked him & he was very friendly & approachable. All the girls in the restaurant were amazing . I also have to mention Ronnie who on my first night there made a special effort to chat to me making sure I was attended to & that I had everything I needed - Top bloke! The food was amazing - compliments to the chef & to all the kitchen staff & to my liking. I would definitely come here again & spread the word to friends family & colleagues.

This premier inn hit all the boxes as we always use premier inn.. staff very nice room excellent and well adjusted for wheelchair use.. but 6ft from the window of our ground floor room is a football training ground!!! From 5pm until 9.30pm is football noise people shouting kids setting off fireworks and constantly banging on buckets with sticks and bottles!! We were in bed from travel and just couldn't sleep from the noise premier inn couldn't do anything... this was a let down.. Fri 11th Nov 22' wouldn't go back......

I have very mixed opinion about the hotel and service. Firstly, the room was good size, clean and comfortable, nicer than usual bathroom, and large car park. Unfortunately I removed a couple of stars, as there were definitely some issues going on with the booking system. I think my room has been double booked by error, so someone who's been given a card, has entered my room at late night hours, saying he's been booked to the same room number. I was shocked, and didn't feel secure after that. I reported an issue to the reception, however haven't heard any feedback. The other thing I needed to report, was disgusting, burnt inside kettle, which has been replaced quickly, so not really a big deal. I'm not sure if I would like to stay in this hotel again...

From the very offsett you can sense the cleanliness and quality of service by all staff members. The kitchen is open plan so you can see how your food is being prepared which is so refreshing as I've not stayed in any other premier inn like this. I would go as far to say this is the joint best Premier Inn with the one at Heathrow airport I have stayed in. On any return trip to Glasgow, I would not hesitate to come back here.

Good quality premier Inn, plentiful free parking. Quiet hotel. Writing this review because Ronnie one of the bar staff, is a rare chap. Attentive and cheerful in his work. And take true pride in bar tendering and engaging with the guests. I've stayed in hundreds of premier inns and other hotels over the years, and never met such an outstanding employee. Who does your business proud. All the staff here are great. But Ronnie goes the extra mile.
