Only stayed in the bar area but this was a lovely experience. Lovely festive cocktails made to perfection. Small bites were made to perfection. The ambience is warm and comfortable. Great for catching up with friends and family for something quirky but still high end.

I spent two 2-night stays this month at One Devonshire and it was as amazing as I had envisaged. Being a Glasgow native over 30 years ago I was excited to stay on a business trip and the “best hotel in Glasgow”. It certainly is. Both rooms I stayed in were stunning. Staff great. Dinner in restaurant with my family was delicious with excellent service (beef Wellington outstanding!). Would not hesitate to recommend this place for an extra special treat for yourself and anyone you’d like to invite as a dinner guest.

Had a birthday lunch today in the bar area. We took our wee dog with us and he was given his bowl of water immediately. The wine was lovely, service was 1st class and the club sandwich was the best sandwich I have ever eaten. Will definitely be coming back.

We booked our stay for the duration of our wedding (in a different venue). We had a large booking of family and bridal party and also planned a private dinner one of the nights. We were so fortunate to have Stacey helping us throughout the process - she is so attentive, prompt and approachable. The private dinner was fantastic- service was impeccable and the food got rave reviews from all guests. The hotel service was second - to - none; queries were dealt with straight away and the staff were so helpful especially with older family members. The suites were perfect for accommodating a wedding prep morning and the stay was generally comfortable and luxurious.

We attended a family wedding at the Hotel Du Vin - House 5 Private Dining Suite. The hotel and rooms are fabulous. The venue was brilliant for us all. The staff were so welcoming and great all day. Lovely experience from the start to the end of the night. Definitely recommended for its character in the hotel.

Well what can I say. Always wanted to stay here and managed to at last, for 3 nights. Service was exceptional - we felt so special. Beautiful building with lovely decor and a relaxing feeling. Bar feels like an exclusive members club. Would love to return.

A home away from home! Checking in and out was a breeze. The staff is very accommodating. Our interconnecting rooms were spacious, comfortable, and tastefully decorated. The shower was great. I usually avoid hotel toiletries but this time i gave the conditioner a shot and i definitely don't regret it. If i were to take off my nitpicking hat, and overlook the little mix ups and delays at breakfast, and the dust inside one of our dresser drawers, i would say that our stay was near perfect. The charm in this hotel is that it is elegant, warm, and homely, without being boastful or pretentious. I'd stay here again on my next visit to Glasgow. It's all in the details ... - The lighting throughout the premises is gorgeous. A variety of ceiling lights and lamps in the room give full mood control to the occupant. The bathroom lighting is very flattering. Something I love in a hotel. - The water in the sink and shower can be adjusted “instantly” to the desired temperature. Who doesn't love that on a cold January morning?

What an absolutely fabulous hotel. Our room, which was a junior suite, was just perfect and so comfortable. It had everything we needed. The staff couldn't be more helpful and we enjoyed our evening meal. We were there to celebrate my partner's birthday and he was surprised with some handmade sweets and a glass of fizz which was a lovely gesture by the staff. We had a great time and will definitely return for another stay.

The hotel and rooms were very good, it had the feel of a posh home. A rabbit warren of corridors to get around, as the place is 5 town houses making one hotel. The menu choice was limited, food wasn't very hot when served. Parking is poor, for such a well established hotel. The bar gave good service, but again food let it down.

Okay, so check-in was incredibly easy and efficient. Our room was fantastic. We had asked for an upgrade but it wasn’t available but even so the room was absolutely lovely, bed incredibly comfortable, room spacious with seating, bathroom luxurious so doing great. The star of the show though was the chap who came to serve us free appetisers and petit fours during dinner. He was so enthusiastic about what the chefs had done, very knowledgeable and delighted when we passed on our compliments - he helped make the meal an experience. In fact that is how I would describe our visit. We were in Glasgow for what was not the best of reasons - nothing excessive just a somewhat stressful situation and most times in hotels it is a case of putting up with minor irritations but our stay was short here but we will be back because it was ‘an experience ‘ a very enjoyable, comfortable and relaxing one thanks to the hotel itself, the excellent dining experience, the drinks helped, and the staff were fantastic.
