Had a lovely overnight stay at Sunnybank. Lorraine greeted us with the warmest of welcomes, nothing too much trouble! Rooms clean and cosy, breakfast was delicious and Peter provided a second to none service!!
Frank and Lorraine run a cosy, friendly, clean place. I only stayed here for one night but was made to feel very welcome.
Cute and cosy place that I couldn’t recommend enough, with great value for money! Frank and Lorraine were such a joy: friendly, accommodating, and attentive to anything we needed. The breakfast was also delicious with lots of options to choose from. Not for those looking for a luxurious stay, but if a warm, homely bed and breakfast is up your street, look no further.
A lovely welcome from the hosts, comfortable and quiet. Somewhere to lock my bike. And a breakfast goody-bag because I was leaving stupid-o’clock-early in the morning and needed every of minute of sleep. Thank you both
We were received so openly and warmly. The accommodation was very nice and we had a great time. There is always a lot of laughter in this house. All the best to the Lorraine and Frank from the small German tour group.
I have had a problem with my car and this family has been more than comprehensive and kind to me, giving me a great help, i will not forget that. Definitely a B&B you can count on. The room, sheets and shower were clean, bed comfortable, good breakfast. Highly recommended ! Thank you again.
We had a wonderful overnight stay , Frank and Lorraine are so warm and wonderful people. You can ask everything and they will help you! We slept so good in the lovely family room, the kids slept within 5 min. in their cosy beds. We started our first morning in Scotland with a huge breakfast, everything you can imagine. Try the kipper! Delicious! Thank you for everything. Scotlands got us ♥️
Bery friendly staff with lots to talk about with you! Beds were fluffy and cozy. A little too kitschy in terms of interior for me. Bathroom a little small but that's totally fine for just one night. Breakfast was great and plenty to choose from. Discounts at The Stables Alexandria, if you are coming from the B&B and reserved a table via the staff of the B&B, which is totally possible. Spending the evening in the living room is also recommended. Writing travel journals from there is a good way to end the day. Nice stay, would go again!
We travelled to Balloch this weekend for a family wedding & stayed at the Sunnyside B&B. I cannot recommend it highly enough. It is comfortable, spotlessly clean & the best breakfast ever. We had 2 young children with us as well & Frank & Lorraine went out of their way to ensure that we were all made to feel very welcome. An excellent place to stay.
