   The Bucks is not trading as a hotel at the moment. Only the bar is open. Old fashioned but clean and the service is great. Staff very friendly especially the bar manager Hazel.

   Nipped in for a quick half time pint. Seems to be much quieter than I remember and there was little atmosphere. The staff behind the bar were friendly enough and the layout and set up of the pub is good. Just a shame that it was fairly empty. Not sure if it's maybe a bit busier in the evening or during special events.

   Booked through Late Rooms but when I got there they told me that they were not expecting me and were not able to give me a room. After a long time they made up a room for me to stay in.
