If I could give a minus rating this is what I would give. Collected a 55 β tv and womenβs push bike/ helmet on Saturday 31st August. Person who served me at the till left both items by the till. Then she walked off, I had asked if I could collect from back door due to size/ weight of items was told no. As there was a delivery, seeing as close at 5.30 and it was 5.25 I think not. I did apologise for the latest but was caught in traffic in patchway. Shouldnβt have bothered as shop closes at 5.30 so I was there before it closed. I pushed the boxes one at a time towards the door while ringing my son to come to help to put in the car as was unable to carry both items or even one at a time. This is why back door would have been easier for both parties shop & myself. I asked the bloke if he could help get the boxes to the front door seeing as weβre closing & would be quicker for me to get out of the shop out of there way. He said no, not allowed as only two of them. But the woman was putting shutters down & no other customers so what harm would it have done to help !! A man walking pass with his family offered to help as clearly nobody in Argos were capable of giving good customer service. What I think the staff should remember is people buying items are paying your wages. So customer care & respect would be nothing short of what they should/ could be doing. Will try to shop elsewhere now or even drive further away to a helpful store. What a shame canβt use your local shops !!

Attempted to return an item but wasnβt sure if it would be eligible for a return. The woman working was rude, impolite and snappy. Customer service was very poor. Will not be returning to this Argos again.

Ordered online and tried to collect via the back door. Called the Argo number and spent at least 15 minutes on the phone. Eventually put through to store and spoke to a rather rude and unhelpful manager. She explained that even though I was parked at the back of the store I would have to walk around to the front, to show them my order number. Fine by I am disabled and cant walk anymore than about 5 meteres. The really unhelpful manager made no attempt to help me. I rang the back door bell and the amazingly unhelpful manager arrived again. I asked her again for my order and rather than just serve me she decided to stand there and argue with me for 10 minutes. She was rude and arrogant and I will never shop in this store again!!! Infact I will probably never use argos again.... thanks for nothing

We visited last Saturday and were served by a very personable man. I hadn't used Argos for ages as I hated their 'double queuing system' but they have removed the first queue by allowing us to order from the computer.

Staff could definitely be more friendly and help customers feel at ease, especially as it was my first time using Argos since the lock down and I wasn't entirely sure on how things would work. Staff did get my items to me promptly but I didn't like the overall atmosphere they created and won't be returning in a hurry.

Picked up and item I had ordered from home and had to wait a bit, despite there only being one other customer in the store at the time and plenty of staff milling around. About a week or two after picking up my item I received another email telling my order was ready for collection. Concerned that they may have duplicated my order I called their customer services who said it was probably just an error - didn't seem to have any idea why I was receiving another email for the same order.
