A must visit little island. It has its all natural vegetation alovely shallow beach and a fantastic view point.

Fantastic, scenic route. Allow ca. 2h to walk around the entire island, not necessarily on the main paths. Tranquil and wild.

It's a great walk around the island, reminiscent of your typical bluebell woods, but getting to the summit is a bit challenging and gets a bit humid at the top. We didn't go to the beach or the low path, but they seemed popular. The burial ground was an interesting addition to our route back. The local boat to transport us to the island was also a fun ride, and great people ran it, but the board walk at the ports do require people to think before they step.

Go when the bluebells are out walking descent on colour is unparalleled. The ferry to the island I feel the present cost was very reasonable. The fairy stuff we're very helpful.

A peaceful quiet little island, very different from whatever you will see in Scotland. A unique primitive place, fun to be at within the forrest and nature, there is a beach there, toilets are not so good to be used yet available, you can hike, enjoy the beach, have a picnic, explore, and do lots of fun things there. The whole island if you are just walking can take like 1 hour or a 1 hour and a half. Give yourself more time if you want to explore different details and do some good photography. Highly recommended for a visit. You can go there by a boat from Balmaha Boat Yard. I put a review already there including the experience and prices.

Genuinely one of my favourite places I have ever visited. Spontaneously went during the week in the spring and it was beautiful. The boat ride to the island is very affordable and pleasant with nice commentary about the islands on the Loch. Remember to leave no trace and bring home everything that you take!

Absolutely stunning views, peaceful walk round the island and a small but rewarding walk.

We took the Island Cruise from Luss, which landed us on thr Island after about 45mins, then spent a few hours exploring the woodland trails. The views from the summit trail are beautiful! We then caught the boat back to Luss a few hours later. Be sure to check the departure times or there is a chance that you may get stranded there, as the Island is uninhabited.

It's beautiful when it's sunny. A place to relax after a long weekday of stress. You should ride a small ferry/boat from Balmaha for 10-15 minutes.

Beautiful little island, well worth a stop to go visit the island and hike around. You can hike the whole island in a couple of hours. Glad we took the time to explore it. When we were there ferry was running hourly, it's a very short trip from Balmaha to Inchcailloch, only about 10 minutes ride.
