   Quite useless. I have a carpenter (with a Howdens trade account) lined up to fit a utility room. Howdens sent a flyer for their Chepstow branch through the post, so I thought that’s good timing, I’ll see what they can offer. 6 weeks after initial contact I have no design and no quote. Whenever I ask Howdens about it, I’m given excuses and told someone will get back to me ‘in a few days’. Nothing happens. Now my carpenter has moved on to other projects and I don’t have a utility room. Why market yourself at consumers if you can’t fulfil even a basic level of service. I don’t really understand how this place sells kitchens with such a poor level of capability.

   Sorry but the service was awful. The person that served us didn’t seem to have much knowledge or will to help us. Couldn’t read codes as couldn’t see them and appeared to not really concentrate on what we asked. We drove for over 1 hr round trip to no avail. I had better service on the phone to my home branch while my colleague tried to be served at the counter.
