essentially furnished our whole flat through this store. the workers were always very nice and helpful to us. our road is pedestrianised so delivering here is a nightmare, but they went above and beyond to make sure our order got to us, with the drivers starting their shift early and hauling a huge sofa bed up to the third floor! great range in store and very reasonably priced, thank you bhf

Poor experience when donating some clothes. I used to volunteer at this shop, so it’s always nice to come back. However, when I visited yesterday to donate some clothes and a couple of mattress covers, the experience was disappointing. The staff directed me to the warehouse so they could inspect my bags. A young staff member went through the items one by one, and in a few cases dismissed them in a way that felt unnecessarily harsh. Rather than feeling that my donation was appreciated, I felt as if they were doing me a favour by accepting it. At that point, I decided to ask for my bags back and chose to donate them elsewhere. In the future, I’ll take my donations to a place where they’re received with more gratitude.

Driver called me as he was confused about which house. I called back 2 minutes later and he didn’t respond? The driver did not respond. He then just decided to forget about us and drive on. Tried to call the Bristol shop for half an hour and couldn’t get through. When I did and reported this incident to the store I was told to ‘stay vigilant.’ A 2 minute slot for furniture in a 12-5pm time frame is not appropriate. Now there are no delivery slots left before I leave for my holiday and they can’t hold furniture for the week, meaning I lose the items. I paid for this slot and it’s ruined my entire day waiting around for no reason. And was met with a very unhelpful phone call when I got through. I was also treated with hostile energy when donating very good quality clothes. I am autistic and this left me in a meltdown. Horrible experience I won’t be buying here again despite the good quality furniture unfortunately. They are now refusing to refund my delivery costs despite me not being at fault.

Very helpful lady assisted me (Katy I think). I originally visited on Saturday 9th but the tills went down and everyone had to leave the store. Went back on Sunday 10th and completed my order. Quite substantial as am furnishing a flat so also booked delivery. Cant't fault the store, except that the fridge I wanted had been sold, but they have a quick turn around and providing I see one by the day before my delivery, they will add it onto my order. Will definitely be back for more.

The shop has something for everyone. It is a big shop with two 3 floors. Lots to see.and reasonable prices for location. Good access for all. Top floor is a stairs. Room to move about without too many obstacles. So few like this now exist. It is good to see before buying.

Never again! We bought a sofa (quite small) but when the delivery man showed up he arrived at 6.50 in the morning after we were told it would arrive between 9am and 1pm. There was only one delivery driver(not sure how he would have gotten it in) didn’t even try to get it in our house just got a measuring tape and said it wouldn’t fit. He just couldn’t be bothered. When getting a refund the manager said it would take up to 45 minutes to try and put us off however after we told him to continue we were there for 15 minutes max. He was also extremely rude! Poor customer service.

Over priced. People who are struggling go to these to get what they need. IKEA units cheaper in ikea. They need to sack who makes these prices up.

I called them as my grandmother had a beautiful nearly leather sofa to be donated, the drivers were beyond ungrateful and rude!

For the second time in a few months, I paid for and booked delivery of a 4ft mattress. For the second time, the mattress delivered was the wrong one. (a 4ft 6"matteress with no topper) Try as I might, they have not yet refunded my credit card, insisting that I go in to the shop which I'm unable to do. This is appalling customer service in every way. They may be a charitry but unless they run their shops in a proper business-like wayt they will lose support.
