   Not as good as Eccleston Hill co-op, the staff there are so helpful, they ALWAYS pack the groceries into the bag for you. I went to Rainford today and had my tote bag (heavy). I had the basket and was struggling to open the carrier bag. The assistant did nothing to help and had no intentions of packing. I had a disabled friend with me who has dementia and has liver and bowel cancer. Hes very frail and thin. It would have been a great help if she'd have packed for me.

   Welcome to Co-Op: proudly serving the village with prices that suggest each tin’s been hand-delivered by carrier pigeon and blessed by a monk. You walk in for milk, walk out needing a finance plan and a sit down. It’s the only shop for miles, so of course it acts like it’s Harrods—but with less glamour and more wilted lettuce. Elderly folks who can’t travel? Absolutely stitched up. Essentials shouldn’t feel like luxury items in a gift shop. In short: It’s convenient, yes—but at what cost? Literally. Two stars for being open, but it’s hard to applaud a lifeline when it’s also quietly emptying your purse with every loaf of bread and impacting those in the community who rely on it most

   I go there every Saturday with my friends and I got a funny look from one of the cashiers first time I went but that was just a misunderstanding they are so nice there amazing people so handy and has everything for anyone they did not judge when I went there and got a million toiletries for our school competition every Saturday I would recommend it fully and if you go there often they may try to get to know you bye name witch I think is nice

   I think this store is a good store usually for its politeness of some staff, but there is also other staff that are miserable&moody&rude & they are not wearing face masks when walking into shop area, I know they have screens on counter but there was no use of gloves either, good job I paid contactless, also there is nothing in place to stop customers walking in without face coverings¬ sticking to a distancing rule, I think its disgusting in these present times!! considering the northwest as a covid situation at moment,surely once the staff are properly equipped they should also have powers to stop customers with no face coverings entering, This issue needs to be addressed or I will not be shopping there in the near future..
