   Took my son into the pharmacy to get advice on a skin issue, to have the pharmacist say 'I don't know'. I wish that I was paraphrasing but unfortunately that is the short, sharp response we received. My mother came with us as she needed treatment for conjunctivitis. She was told by the same woman that it isn't conjunctivitis, it's just a bloodshot eye. When my mother mentioned that it also itched, she was palmed off with the same 'I don't know'.

   Fantastic service received today. Went to the pharmacy and requested some eye drops which were prescribed under community ailments scheme and I was given access to them within five months of completing my medical assessment.

   Came in on Tuesday to get some cream for my mum. The younger lady on the desk was so lovely, but she had to talk to someone higher up about the prescription. They were shouting across the shop to each other, everyone in the shop could hear their conversation which isn’t very nice considering it was a personal issue. Then told to come back with the name of the cream and they would give us something else. Went back 20 minutes later with the name of the cream to be told by a very rude woman that we have to go to the gp and get a prescription. Which is completely fine but her attitude was really off putting, she wasn’t pleasant at all and basically just shrugged us off. I have anxiety, so even just going into the pharmacy I was anxious and I left with absolutely no help and feeling almost as if I had been told off by a teacher ??. I absolutely love the delivery service and the woman who usually delivers couldn’t be any nicer, same with the newer girl but personally I would recommend more customer service training for the older lady. Honestly wouldn’t come here for anything other than my prescription now

   Edited date amended, apologies; Let me start by saying I was/am a big supporter of this pharmacy. The ladies have been brilliant and done their best to assist with prescriptions and advice, however! Today, Saturday 22/06/24, I went to pick up my prescription. Shop empty. I waited for a few minutes, understandable as they can be busy preparing prescriptions. I eventually saw a young woman (new?) showing her colleague content on her phone. A discreet cough and she appeared, not to happy, a face like fizz, borderline rude. I departed with a thanks. The regular staff know I am a patient and courteous customer. Not good enough. Can you pass to the young woman my apologies for disturbing her phone time.

   I don’t really leave reviews but yes the counter staff are unnecessarily patronizing and rude - enough for me to avoid shopping here and leaving a review. You can imagine that there will be many who won’t know how to leave a review and merely stop shopping here.

   A great pharmacy, conveniently located in the town centre. All of the staff are always friendly and helpful, with the pharmacists always more than happy to answer any questions at all about my medication. On the down side, the over the counter products are a little over priced but other than that I have no complaints.

   I was in today and the staff were extremely helpful and concerned. Being a 16 year old girl and scared I felt comforted. Both the girls that were in we so helpful, even phoned my doctor to help me. Thank you!
