Excellent Asian supermarket. Great selection of Chinese, Korean, Philippines, Thai ingredients. Prices are very good compared to my usual ordering prices (online). Will hopefully make regular visits when my ingredients run low.
A personal favourite place to shop, they have some comfort foods and new foods I love to try. The only issue is there are so many things out of stock, however there's always an alternative. I especially like those red bean, coffee, wheat and strawberry milk teas.
I came across Wai Yee Hong supermarket during the long lockdown. The website is user friendly and it has an excellent choice of provisions (some of it are not available elsewhere). Goods are well packaged, recyclable and delivery is quick and prompt. Reasonable courier charges.
We visited Wai Yee Hong Chinese Supermarket out of curiosity, encouraged by a taste my partner got from her friend – long, chip-like seaweed snacks. We really liked them, so we went to get more. The store is medium-sized for something called a "supermarket." As Europeans, we have no real knowledge of Chinese food, but the shop seemed well-stocked and clean. We bought a few snacks and enjoyed the experience.
Asian foods heaven! This supermarket offers a great deal of selection from Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Indonesian, or Thailand ingredients, and snacks. Everything that you might never thought you needed and more. There were enormous options of both fresh and frozen items. The aisles were full of rare delicacies and treats. I loved coming here for the Chinese New Year celebration as well. There were lots of activities both outside and inside the supermarket. There were lots of food stalls, and the best part was the dragon dance.
Provide a wide range of products for Asian foods. Price of course is more expensive than local supermarkets due to demand and supply. Staff are polite and friendly. Comparing Wanahong, price is cheaper here hence another option for those who like Asian foods.
Plenty to offer in this large supermarket. I always come away with far more than intended. The staff are incredibly helpful and will happily point you in the right direction. My go to for all the ingredients for Indian, Thai and Chinese recipes.
Massive range and what you get for the money is ridiculous when compared to the supermarket for what would be 250 ml in tesco you get a wine bottle of the stuff. A lot of non asian people use this place and the staff are lovely. I feel like I'm on holiday when I go in for shopping, I love all the unusual goods in this awesome shop.
Excellent online shopping experience everything turned up and was all well packed would highly recommend the shop and the excellent selection of food.
Had a very pleasant time shopping here today, more choice of food than I thought would be here. Plenty of free parking. Happt to see so many people shopping here, I will be back.
