   I used this pharmacy for my weekly medications but had constant problems. On one occasion Boots said they had ordered my medication, but my GP confirmed they never received the request. On another occasion, I requested a prescription from my GP and waited a month without receiving it. My doctor later confirmed it had been authorised when I first asked, meaning Boots had the prescription all along but never gave it to me — and it was medication I really needed. I also asked if I could collect all my weekly medication on Mondays instead of Tuesdays as that worked best for me. They refused, and when I moved to a different pharmacy, Boots even told them not to allow me to switch my collection day, which felt completely inappropriate. Multiple times my medication was authorised by my GP but not sent over in time for collection day. Boots refused to help and would not approve even a one-day emergency supply for medications I take daily — despite it being within their discretion and appropriate given the withdrawal effects, intense pain, migraines and mental health impact. This led to out-of-hours appointments when I became very unwell. Overall, there was very little empathy or understanding, and I eventually had no choice but to move to a different pharmacy.

   Staff member went above and beyond today when I told her that I was approached by an old man outside who had dementia and forgot his way home. Without hesitation the woman came out to help, she spoke to the old man with respect and dignity and then took him back to the pharmacy to help fix the situation. Thank you!

   Pharmacy has room for improvement in its efficiency. Patients often experience lengthy wait times for prescriptions, which can extend up to more than an hour.

   I am PofA for a friend who is disabled She is regularly left without analgesia as deliveries are sporadic and often runs out of her complex meds because of inefficiency. She takes a long time to answer the door and we have repeatedly told them however she has missed delivery as the person delivering has not waited .

   Were do i start this shop reminds me of a famous Glasgow joke shop than a pharmacy Was meant to pick up my prescription every 4 weeks but recently it has been every 7 weeks ? And still short of items There is no  Composition that is why boots can treat customers  Like that  I have reported this shop to boots head office still waiting in reply needed my blood pressure tablets over the festive period phoned the main st shop was told to phone  Emergency medical number When to morrisons Pharmacist And was given a short supply of tablets to see me over the festive season Terrible way to treat a disabled OAP  When I called into the shop to collect my Prescription Was told I was no longer a customer with them and to go elsewhere and get my medicine  Can't believe this is the way I have been treated by them I think it was because I reported them to their head office  The female Manager is a joke who could not speak to me face-to-face when I was in the shop  She let her  assistant the nosey Parker one who's always  Interfering in other people's business  i feel sorry for the OAP of thornliebank who have to put up with this disgraceful set up

   The worst cashier and worst time wasters pharmacist.they don't have any experience. I hope today is my last day of visiting them. I would never suggest anyone to go there. They don't even worth one star. Staff is very rude especially one brown hair skinny long behind the cashier.

   They frequently do not have the stock to complete prescriptions for where I work, despite these being the same every month. Last time I was in, 2 other customers were told that they would have to return for the remainder of their prescription. I went to collect something simple that they had failed to provide on the due date and they were completely in the dark about it. I had to wait while they found the original prescription and made it up. Without doubt the worst pharmacy I've encountered in 20 years of working in care giving environments.

   Always some sort of issue here, today get there at 2-3 minutes to one, after a 30 min walk, to be told dispensary closed 1 till 1:30 After, hanging around for more then 30 min, we went in only to be told due to manufacturing problems that particular medicine was unavailable and they would have to go back to doctor for alternative. The prescription was ordered 15 days ago why wasn't this noticed when dispensing the prescription, useless!!!
