The Best place to work out, with plenty of options and well sized pools. The price is really good for that variety. I love it.

I had a deeply disturbing and unsafe experience here. While running on the track, I was verbally harassed by another member who shouted slurs at me and then physically assaulted me by punching me. I immediately reported the incident to gym management the same day, knowing there was CCTV coverage in the area. Despite the seriousness of the situation, the staff refused to take any action. The police were involved and formally requested the CCTV footage, but the gym refused to provide it. After this incident, I no longer felt safe returning and attempted to cancel my membership immediately. Instead of showing any understanding or concern for my safety, the gym charged me additional fees. This gym clearly does not prioritize the safety or well-being of its members and shows serious failures in management and accountability. I would strongly advise others to avoid this place

I’ve started calling this place the anxious gym because that’s exactly how it makes you feel from the moment you try to walk through the door. And honestly, that feeling sticks with you through the entire workout. Equipment? Barely any. When I say they lack basic equipment, I’m not exaggerating. They have two pairs of 10 kg free weights. Two. And only a couple of benches to go with them. You can imagine the rest of the gym from that fact alone. If you want to do a simple, standard workout, good luck—half the time you end up improvising because everything is taken. Opening hours that make no sense for London. They open at 6:30am and close at 10pm. Fine if you’re living in a quiet village somewhere, but for people who actually work in London and need an early workout, it’s completely impractical. And because they open so late, there’s an enormous rush of people all trying to squeeze in a workout in a very short window. Combine that with the lack of equipment and you’ve got chaos. To make matters worse: the doors. Their door system is broken almost daily. You end up waiting outside in a queue that feels like airport security on Christmas Day. By the time you even enter the gym, you’re already stressed. The atmosphere gets aggressive—understandably. With so many people crammed into an under-equipped space, it’s no surprise tensions rise. People try to take over equipment even while you’re clearly using it. And honestly, I don’t even blame them. The environment itself breeds frustration and anxiety. I feel the same way every time I’m there. This gym should be a place to relax, unwind, and enjoy one of my favourite hobbies—but instead it delivers the exact opposite. It’s exhausting, stressful, and disappointing on a daily basis. My plea: I genuinely hope other fitness companies see this and consider opening a proper gym around the Willesden Junction area. There is such a huge need for better options here. The community deserves it.

Dear parents and Guardians, I am writing to express my deep concern regarding an incident that occurred during a recent swimming lesson at the Willesden Sport Centre. As a parent of a child enrolled in the swimming program, I believe it is important to bring this matter to the attention of all families involved. 21st October 2025, at 18:27pm, during a lesson, my son’s swimming goggles were thrown into the deep end of the pool by the instructor, who then instructed him to retrieve them. My son almost drowned while trying to retrieve the goggle; luckily, the same instructor reacted quickly, otherwise the worst could have happened. This action was not only inappropriate but also highly irresponsible, particularly given that my son has recently been upgraded to Kids Stage 3. As a parent, I trust that instructors are trained to prioritise the safety and well-being of all children in their care. My son, who is still developing his swimming skills, was placed in a dangerous situation that could have led to serious consequences. The decision to ask him to retrieve his goggles from the deep end, without consideration of his current skill level, was alarming and unacceptable. It has been two weeks since I initially reached out to the management team via email, and I have yet to receive any response or explanation regarding this serious matter. The lack of communication is not only disappointing but also raises concerns about the oversight and management of the swimming program. As parents, we expect timely responses from the management team, especially when it comes to the safety and well-being of our children. We need to cultivate an environment where concerns can be addressed promptly and effectively. The absence of a response raises questions about how issues are handled within the program. The centre's commitment to the safety of its participants and the quality of its communication with parents. I urge the management of Willesden Sport Centre to review staff conduct and ensure that all instructors adhere to the highest safety standards. It is crucial for the peace of mind of all parents that our children are in a safe and supportive environment while learning to swim. I hope this letter serves as a wake-up call to improve the training and oversight of swimming instructors at the centre. Our children's safety should always come first. Thank you for your attention to this important matter.

A sports centre with everything that you look for, with people who are very friendly and helpful if you are new to the place... really a place to have everything under one roof to keep yourself fit and healthy. I would only recommend to add live meditation sessions here, which is so important these days.

I visited last week and was pleasantly surprised with the facilities. Pool area is amazing. Changing rooms where super clean and staff was friendly.

I joined Willesden Sports Centre gym two months ago. It has two floors full of space, mashines, and all equipment you can imagine. I like to be left alone when I workout and here there is plenty of space to do your own thing. PTs everywhere on the floor, atmosphere not intimidating at all, so many free group classes. I am staying here for years to come.

Alastair’s (boxercise), David’s (spinning and bootcamp) and Tina’s (body pump) classes are absolutely fabulous. Although the gym management do not reply phone calls and emails. As many times I emailed the Gym Manager with different suggestions or request, as many times I did not receive any response. I found it ridiculous that you have to wake up at 6 am on Saturday to be able to book a class next Saturday. Being part of a gym should improve your quality of life and not to ruin your sleeping pattern to get into a class in a week time. We asked many times to increase the number of the bikes for David’s Saturday morning spinning and the Management did not even consider or was bothered with an answer. I am looking forward for a solution.

Hopeless all around. Staff even acknowledge that there’s no point in calling up because they’ll never answer the phone. Unbelievably disorganised and poor attitudes on the front desk. Manager lacks very basic people skills and seems to just make up his job as he goes along.
