I dropped in for a Sunday open mat and Silviu was welcoming from the start. The club is a nice space and you get high level rolls. It’s easy to park in the surrounding area and easy to find. Next time I’m that way I’ll be coming back.

We had the honour of hosting Joe and Niko for a seminar. If you're thinking about starting Jiu Jitsu, you're lucky to have Joe, Eoghan and Silivu as your regular coach – a great person and a phenomenal instructor. The seminar was incredibly insightful and inspiring – thanks for sharing your knowledge!

I can't say enough great things about this gym! The level of instruction is top-notch, with skilled and patient coaches who truly care about the progress of every student, from beginner to advanced. The atmosphere is incredibly welcoming and supportive, making it a great place for people of all skill levels to train. The facility is clean, spacious, and well-maintained.The members here are not only focused on improving their skills but also helping each other grow. I've felt myself improve dramatically since joining, and it's all thanks to the knowledgeable instructors and the positive training environment. If you're serious about learning jiu-jitsu or just looking for a great workout in a positive space, this is the place to be!

I train at SGC with my partner and we both agree that this is an amazing place to train at. Eoghan and Silviu are extremely welcoming and not only world class athletes in their sport, but equally fantastic teachers. They make the important and advanced details easy to understand, so even someone as scatter brained like myself can learn sequences and feel encouraged! Loads of feedback given during sparring and practice which is very motivating to apply in your personal learning. The people are awesome, all very kind and excellent to roll with. It is really nice to train at a club which has such quality training but also has great people to be friendly with. An absolute must to visit these mats!

I highly recommend Silviu if you want to achieve your goals and have a rewarding experience. He is one of the humblest people I’ve met, however, don’t get tricked by this! He has a full list of achievements, which coupled with the dedication and passion he shows make him one of the most credible PTs in London. Very kind person with loads of experience, he tracked my progress and kept me accountable throughout the journey. He helped me identify strengths and weaknesses for then showing me how to get the most out of them. I’m very pleased with my progress and feel assured that with his continued training and encouragement, I will continue getting good results.

I’m a blue belt of another academy and a very new member to this club. But what I can say is the instruction and structure of the classes at SGC are truly world class. Perfect for someone with ADCC aspirations such as myself, or even a complete beginner! Eoghan and Silviu are extremely meticulous in the set up and execution of every technique. It’s a privilege to train here. I commute from outside of London to train here which just says it all really. If you’re more local you have no excuses! This is going to be the best No Gi only club in London. Just a matter of time. You heard it here first!

I've been a student here since the start and have been trained by Silviu, one of the main coaches at the club, for over 6 months. He is the best BJJ, Judo and wrestling coach I've ever trained under. He's very attentive, meticulous, and highly skilled in improving your skills. His strength and conditioning sessions are also very effective. Best grappling gym in town!
