First of all, wonderful service! Lovely conversation with the waiter (Liam) who gave me tips on the food, the city, and the rest of my travel. Food: one of the best Seafood Linguine I have ever had in the world. Exaggeration? Not. I've been to over a thousand cities in 60+ countries so believe me it suits my taste. Oysters were also the best! Try one of each! They are fresh and tasty!!

Best seafood in Edinburgh! Staffs are very polite, friendly and helpful! The restaurant is not that big so reservations is highly recommended as it is a popular seafood restaurant in town. Everything we ordered from the menu were fresh, delicious and full of flavors! Overall me and my friends were very impressed with their services, food quality and prices! Sure will be back again if I visit Edinburgh in the future!

I love establishments like this one. The ambiance, the waiters, the food. It is really comfortable being there and you know you are going to have a good meal. I had the fish soup which was tasty but not amazing. It had haddock and salmon in it. The fish pieces in the soup were a little chewy. I assume its because the soup is made in a big batch and kept warm during the entire service so the fish gets overcooked. It may be a good idea to add the fish last minute. The scallops were amazing. One of the best I have had. They were really fresh and sweet. The plate worked really well as a whole. My gf had the mussels so no comment on those. It was a shame that I had stomach problems and couldn’t eat much. I will definitely visit again to try lobster and langoustines.

I wandered into Fishers in the City looking for my first proper fish and chips meal in Scotland, and I definitely struck gold. The fish was perfectly cooked with a crispy, golden batter, and the chips were just as crunchy and satisfying. A little oily, sure, but in the best, hearty, comfortfood way. I hadn’t planned on finding a gem like this it felt like a lucky stumble that made my first dinner in Edinburgh unforgettable!

Went there for lunch. Food was delicious. Fish chowder was super tasty, mussels were very good, super garlicky which I don’t mind. Fish cakes were very good. Lemon sole was ok, there were few bones, not sure about the sauce. Broccoli and chips on the side were good too. We also ordered seafood linguine but after our starters we were so full we had to ask a waiter to cancel the linguine unfortunately. But we were very pleasantly full. Delicious food with good prices.

Perfect place for seafood lovers. Food and atmosphere are excellent. Service is impeccable. Crews were attentive, constantly filling up our water, changed our plates when filled with empty shells. Ordered a dozen of Fresh Oysters, Cold Seafood Platter for 2 and a Hot Seafood Platter for 2. Oysters & seafood are fresh and juicy. The creamy herb butter sauce on the Hot Platter was to die for! Highly recommended place to go for seafood!

Best food ever had in Edinburgh. Fresh lobster and cod, perfectly cooked. Enjoyed the desserts as well. Was a little suspicious whether it’s worth the money cuz it’s quite expensive (45+ per person) but after dinner would definitely want to go again!!!

Excellent. Food was delicious and fresh. Husband had mussels for main and I had Deluxe Fish and Chips which was half fish and half prawns. Great portions and loved the mushy peas. I had a Harris gin cocktail and hubby had a sidecar, now his new favourite. Lovely service with friendly and welcoming staff. Haven't been for a while but will definitely be back.

Decent seafood restaurant with fine execution. The oysters were expectedly fresh, the scallops big plump and juicy. The chowder was tasty. The prices were a tad high but otherwise an enjoyable meal near to the castle.

The restaurant location is not by the main road of Edinburgh Old Town centre.. better to book a taxi if you want to come here as there are not much space for car parking outside.. book a table in advance is required as they are always full and busy.. This is heaven for a seafood lover. Was here to celebrate my Husband birthday. We loved the oyster and the cheeseboard. For the main, my husband experienced as what he expected which was really good. Slightly different with me because i ordered Tanzanian Curry for the first time. I found it too mild for me (i am Asian and get used to strong flavour).. it was good, smooth, i just need to learn more about Tanzanian Curry is 'mild' as how it should and always be.. ? Overall we both are happy, service was quick, can see the live open kitchen as well.. will be happy to comeback again when visiting Edinburgh
